This is a great little water heater. I needed a reliable water heater in the shop for my two sinks. I have a sink in the the bathroom and the other is a big utilitie sink for washing up in and cleaning parts and whatnot. It has a very fast recovery time so I always have hot water. Great water heate!

The quality control on this company's products is TERRIBLE. As soon as I installed it and set it to 150F for my dishwasher, I noticed that this heater wouldn't turn on until the temperature would drop at least 20 degrees. I contacted their support department (BEWARE - They make it as painful as possible to get in touch) and after some back and forth, they sent out a new thermostat. The new one they sent out performed even WORSE than the one that came on the heater. I noted this and asked them to send another one (preferably one they actually tested before sending out). Crickets - I've not heard from them since. Their own spec which they provided to me says their thermostat should have a swing of anywhere from 5F to 15F. The swings I've been seeing on this heater are 22F-30F. Unacceptable if you are looking for a stable temperature output. Another fun fact. Westinghouse Water heaters are actually made by a company called HTP. So If you are buying because you recognize the brand - don't. The Westinghouse you remember is long since dead and sold out. The stainless steel tank and titanium heating element to negate the need for an anode rod is a step in the right direction, but cheeping out on the thermostat? How hard is it to spend the extra dollar for a part that has a swing of less than 5F? Or heck, a part that even meets your sloppy spec? On what planet is a 15F temperature swing is acceptable? 5F before the heater kicks on is barely tolerable. This is 2019 - We have better technology and its not even expensive. Why not make a better product and in the process make a better name for yourselves?

First unit arrived. Internal tank leaked and caused circuit board to dry out. Exchanged for second unit which stopped working after one week. Purchased new board and thermostat which I haven't changed out yet. So, we'll see what happens next. When it works it's great but that only lasts about a week.
