i think it was around 500, although i was disappointed when i found out that they suggested me to get something that was totally wrong from what i wanted. i dint find this out till later that this water tank was not what i was wanting. very disapointed, will not buy from you or the universal plumbing which y'all referred us to.
I suppose it should be okay as it doesn't use much AC power (mainly for electronic controls).
199,000
Yes but it requires the more expensive pressure piping, Schedule 40 ASTM-D1785. Cellular core pipe is not allowed.
You can put in a cross over valve at the furthest point from the water heater. This will open when the water gets cool and the recirculating pump in the unit will pull it through the cold water line back to the water heater. The question is, what is the balance between heating water that cools in pipes and waiting as you have been for the hot water to arrive. This valve costs about $75. When do you break even on water savings and time versus loss of efficiency? This unit keeps 3.1 gallons of water hot, so it does not take longer to get hot water where you need it, as is the case with many whole house tankless water heaters.
Condensing.
If you price out a similar Rinnai unit that has a recirculating pump built in you will find that the Rinnai unit is much more expensive. The recirculating pump has the advantage of giving you "instant" hot water when you want it and let me just say I put in this unit in my home about 1 month ago and its working great. I have the recirculating pump set for 6:30am - 8:00am mon - fri when my wife and I want instant hot water in the morning for showering. You turn on the faucet and the hot water is there. You don't have to wait for it to turn hot. Saves on water, gas and electric useage and you can program the recirculating pump to fit your lifestyle and useage.
Hi Farid, This unit does not come with an inlet valve, however, it is recommended to have one to ease annual maintenance.
Yes. But don't do tankless. You'll regret it.
Yes but consider where you will run the vent lines, the existing water heater's vent won't do.
