          A:  This is a globe can be attached to an existing fixture. You use the hardware the comes with the fixture to hold the glass globe to the fixture.

            A:  No, it does not come with mounting hardware. This is a neckless type globe, that is held in place by the part holding the actual bulb, and another piece on top to clamp with a lock nut.

                A:  only comes with globe. whatever you are attaching it to should have the hardware. i replaced the existing globe so the outdoor post had the nounting ring.

                  While this globe is shinier than the Newport Coastal version I ended up keeping (at half the price), it has its problems, those being 1) that despite being described as neckless, it does have a neck, 2) there is a plastic blob the size of a pencil eraser on the outside of the bottom which is the most visible part if used on a pendant fixture, and 3) there is a seam going around the circumference.
