I was looking for a cord/ pull down cord for an attic door & after asking 4 different people in the store & explaining what I needed & what it was for.. obviously nobody knew or got it right! If the employees would stay off their phones & focus more on the job maybe more customers would be satisfied. I was told to check the ceiling fan area, sent all around the store for no reason!!!! And when it was ordered I got in a string for a light. A pull string for a light, not a strong attic door!!! I was disappointed and it was really a waste of my time!

This cord is VERY THIN. I purchased it to use as my attic pull-down mechanism, but I believe that it will break after a few uses. Even at a few dollars, it's a waste of money for this mechanism.
