A:  As with all constructions and repairs , it pays to spend time on design . Metal , rather than cpvc , stainless , rather than galvanized , screwed , rather than glued fittings . As repairs ALWAYS more complex than new construction , upgrade where you can . This water heater is QUALITY . You likely can do replacement with minimal extra parts.

A:  The tank comes with all the fittings pre-installed, if that's what you're asking-- inlet, outlet, T&P release, and drain. All brass. You will still need to hook up the supply lines, and will need wiring and wire nuts to install and hook up.

A:  This is not a kit. The stainless tanked water heater itself is the only thing provided. Not quit sure what "set it up" parts you are referring to but any parts that would be required for your installation will not be provided with the heater.

A:  There is not a blower on this heater. The statement was entered in error. Blowers are on hybrid heaters.

A:  I did not purchase a tankless water heater. We bought the 5500-Watt Electric heater with the stainless steel tank. I have no idea what blower air flow means. Ask your plumber.

A:  No, this model is not self cleaning.

A:  I'm not sure what you mean about 'self cleaning'. We bought this water heater last year to replace a very old unit. The plumber who installed it was impressed that it did not have the 'rod' in the center of the heater that most other water heaters have. He was also impressed that we had found a Westinghouse and it was stainless steel. All that said, we haven't had a single issue - it's still quite new you know. And the lack of the 'rod' means that there is less mineral build-up in the tank. Also this is a stainless steel tank which also inhibits mineral build-up (or at least that's my understanding). A:  No water heater actually self cleans. This heaters inlet pipe runs to the bottom but does not lay flat on the bottom to swirl in a circler motion.
