When did a 10 gauge wire become adequate for 50 amps? Should be a 6 gauge wire.

Answer

I bought mine and returned it also there is almost no sheathing on this wire so it could be cut easily.

Can this plug into a twist lock type power inlet receptacle on my house?

Got this cord it was very low quality and returned it. It is like a piece of Romex with plugs added on the ends very non flexible and could easily be cut, not much of an outside shielding on cord. Quality has gone in the toilet with Westinghouse products apparently, These used to be good quality now they have to turned to junk what a shame.
