A:  Hi Aaron There is a 6 year warranty on the parts, & a lifetime warranty on the tank. I have installed one in my home & also at mother in laws home. These are very easy to install. I did a lot of research, & found this heater to be the best choice.

A:  I don’t see why not. As long as the dimensions fit. My plumber was actually quite impressed with this water heater. I currently have it in a side closet in a very slim area

    A:  You may have to contact your local store for pricing. I did not use HD's services, but for comparison, I had the install done by a licensed plumber at a cost of $350. That included removing the old gas heater and its associated vent pipe and hauling it from the premises. Replacing electric with electric, probably a bit cheaper.

      A:  It is a bit difficult to be 100% certain, but they appear to be. They are welded (?) to the tank and there is a bit of discoloration, but the do not look at all like carbon steel

      A:  The heating elements are advertised as titanium. Don't know about the fittings the heating elements are installed in but it would make sense they'd be SS also, but I can't attest to that.

      A:  The treads that accept the heating elements are welded into the tank, there is no separete fitting. I assume they are 316L

        The overall function of the water heater is good, it is efficient. But I was not pleased with the overall appearance. When it was received from Home Depot the exterior was damaged but due to the long time it took for delivery, I decided to install even with the many damages. At least the water heater itself, internally, was not damaged. And my biggest disappointment has been with Home Depot who has not followed up on the product until now.
