Cayuga 60 in. LED Brushed Nickel Smart Ceiling Fan with Light Kit and Remote Control

Installed this modern designed in a living space with a high ceiling. The torque on this fan and air movement is amazing. Its quiet and balanced perfect. Pros:. Four speeds , not 3. Pros: 60" blades are large. This os best in a big room, over 350sf. The instructions are straight and simple. The controller is the old style with 3 wires, simply wired between the huge motor and ceiling box. Fits snug. Blades are reversible, but non symmetric(see pic) so I wonder of pitch changes when using lighter side down and changing cfm. Remote is clunky, it works and app is easily downloaded. I have not tested the app. Also use new remote batteries if any issues getting remote working..Cons: blades are cherry and not a espresso brown. Different than ad. The blades are non symmetric and blade pitch changes a bit. Bulbs won't dim. App isn't easy to connect to my router. Its a 5g. Light blade brackets. Blade Screws are notorious for cross threading, careful not to strip the heads.

I thought this would be black and bronze but it's actually different in person. For instance the blades are reddish brown or pale. The actual fan is black and bronze. Not what I expected or really wanted. But it works. Installation is basic stuff. Easy if you've done fans before. The remote and wiring is standard. If you're looking for a dark only fan this may not be for you.

This is a great big fan! It has 6 paddles on it, which move the air in our kitchen really well. At 60", make sure you have the room to install it. It probably would be overkill for a small room but will certainly move the air. It comes with LED Dimmable bulbs and a remote, so no need to buy anything extra. It has a modern look, so make sure it matches you decor. Overall and great Smart Fan!

One thing I plan on trying is the breeze speed that randomly increases and decreases airflow to mimic the feel of natural wind. Another One of the features is that the smart fan offers app features hands-free operation from anywhere you go. You can even customize your schedule. Good news is that the fan remembers your light and fan settings, so if you turn off the wall switch, it will reset to what you had selected. Our old one, lost everything if you turned off the switch. Easy assembly, except for two things: (1) putting washers on screws for fan blades. They fit tight and have to be screwed together, (2) you have to remove one of the three mounting screws to mount the light kit. Its not obvious unless you have read the instructions. The two bulbs (60W equivalent) included are not as bright as I would like them to be. Just installed the Westinghouse Cayuga 60 in. LED black-bronze smart ceiling fan with light kit and remote control and we are really impressed at how much air this fan can move. Installation was not the easiest but then no ceiling fan is, the assembly instructions were good and had diagrams to help. Our only complaint is that the canopy which covers the mounting bracket should have been made bigger as you have the smart remote receiver and wire connections to try and stuff under there, too tight. The fan works great and at 60 in. diameter and 6 blades it moves plenty of air at the lowest setting and is very quiet doing it. The remote (it uses 2 AAA batteries) works perfect and looks nice, unlike other ceiling fan remotes we have had, plus being backlit it is easy to use in the dark (smart idea). The LED light ( the 2 bulbs are included) gives plenty of light and can be dimmed or brightened by pressing and holding the appropriate button on the remote. We love the modern look of this fan with its smooth matte black-bronze finish and the nice applewood finish to match the interior of our home, overall a great fan.

This review is for the Cayuga 60 in. LED Brushed Nickel Smart Ceiling Fan with Light Kit and Remote Control I ordered the brushed nickel and received the black bronze finish, which is more bronze than black. Doesn't really go with anything in my house. That being said it is a nice solid fan that is super heavy duty and of course very heavy as well. I am thinking of painting it so it will go better in my home.

This 60 inch Westinghouse Cayuga 6 blade fan should really move some air! It has the typical reversible blades with a lighter blonde wood look option and a darker cherry look option. The metal finish is more brown/bronze than what I expected from the photos available online, but it's a nice, subtle finish that will go well with other dark metal fixtures. All the parts are quite sturdy. The instructions are easily available right at the top of the box. Plus the packaging is paper-board, not styrofoam, so its greener and less messy. Looking forward to great service from this fan!

If you are the type of person that loves technology in the home, this is the ceiling fan for you. This well-designed product incorporates RF along with WI-FI capability. Like most fans that I have assembled this fan requires some basic wiring and assembly using a screwdriver. The six blade spread measures 60 inches from tip to tip. Blade colors of dark mahogany or a light wood color are selected by flipping the blades over during assembly. Included with this fan is a light fixture with two 800 lumen LED bulbs and a glass globe. Fan assembly and installation takes about an hour not including download and setup of the phone app. Fan on-off, speed and light control can be done using the included remote or voice activated smart home devices including your cell phone.

This a really nice looking fan. May be one of the nicest looking finishes Ive seen on a fan. This was a straight forward install. Fan came packaged really well as usual. Directions were very easy to read. Wiring was all correctly color coded. Light kit was literally just a snap in. Remote has a wall mount to keep it stored. Took me and my wife about 45 minutes to install from unboxing to turning it on. So far its been a really nice fan. Very happy with this one.

The fan looks slick and modern and is relatively easy to install for a DIYer. Just take care to ensure the power is turned off during installation. The trickiest part was to install the canopy to the ceiling. It's very compact and difficult to get the wires and remote receiver tucked into it. If it were a little bigger, the job would be much easier. The selling point of the fan being Smart is a let down because it's not well implemented. I got the Bond app and it sort-off works, but get errors when updating the firmware. Siri integration is hit and miss with some features working and others not. Google Home only implements the On/Off feature and nothing else. Not all features available through the app are on the included remote such as Breeze. Over all, a nice fan that could have been so much better if they had thought through the Smart features and implemented them well.
