          A:  I just saw them in clear plastic so they will take on the same color as the wall color or covering. Also the installation was a snap. Remove cover plate, slip plastic protector behind cover plate and replace screw. Your done...

            A:  It is clear plastic and takes on a the color of the wall on which it is mounted. If you want beige, there are some excellent spray paints for plastic available. Usually you have to wipe the object to be painted with ammonia based cleaner or paint thinner and then paint. Works very well.
