Minor damage, wobbly construction
I got this to install in my downstairs bathroom and I'm a bit disappointed. First, I'll say that the installation is really easy. If you've installed a wall light before there is nothing here that will surprise you. Second, the light looks really nice and goes great with our existing bronze sink faucet.
My gripes with this light are, when I took it out of the box the side of one of the three "domes" was bent inwards. It's possible this could have happened during shipping but I don't really see how since this was so well packaged in foam. I'm afraid to try and straighten it with a pair of pliers for fear of marring the bronzing. Luckily, the side that is bent is the side facing the wall so it shouldn't be visible to anyone but me. Second, the entire fixture is very flimsy and wobbles quite a bit. If you look at the picture I've included you can see that the three "domes" are not evenly aligned. The two outer "domes" are tilted inwards. I don't think they are supposed to do that. I've tried straightening them but can't get them to stay. My last gripe is that it doesn't come with the fancy bulbs as shown in the packaging. In my opinion the bulbs are what really made it stand out, and having to buy them separately just adds to the expense. I just don't feel like the quality justifies the price.
