A:  Thank you for your question. The Newtown ceiling fan is a combo mount ceiling fan and can be installed either as a flush mount fan or as a down rod mount ceiling fan.

    A:  The Newtown ceiling fan needs to be installed with the included light kit as it does not come with a switch housing cap.
