I bought this a month ago and it works great. We will not be out of electricity for the important stuff next ice storm.

The price was great for the power level of the generator. The box arrived on my doorstep a bit beat up from the trip; there was enough Styrofoam in the box that seemed to prevent shipping damage through. About half of the desiccant beads had broken free from the bag and were free to move around the box and the generator. There were a number of scuff marks and worn finish on one side of the body of the generator housing roll cage that appeared to be from the factory and not from shipping (this was protected by the Styrofoam). The initial setup was simple enough (install the wheels, add the oil and gas) and instructions were well written, with the exception of the last step (or second to last): to turn on the power flip the ON/OFF switch to ON. It was easy to solve, but it really should be there. The generator started on the first pull and was test run for 20 minutes. While wheeling it back to storage, over flat pavement, the generator tipped back and fell vertically with the muffler near the ground and the handle pointing up into the sky. Luckily, it didn't plop itself down atop my young son who was following close behind me; it would've broken his bare feet. The fall damaged the powder coat on that face of the roll cage; not thrilled to have damage after the first use. It seems that the handle is a little short for a man of above average height relative to the center of gravity of the generator. The handle could easily be extended a few inches to limit this problem, though it'd need to be shipped with the wheels on or longer handle off; there might be some other alterations to the design to lower the CG too. Between the scuff marks from the factory and the poor/unsafe handle design, especially the latter, the rating of an otherwise well-functioning, well-priced generator, must take a hit.

Just brought this awesome generator and it works great. I highly recommend the one with wheel for on site jobs!!

Feels quality, item looks solid and well put together. Came with everything I needed to set up minus gasoline . Wheels are a big help as its heavy.
