The "4 prong" socket is 240V NOT 120V. This clearly indicated in the documentation. To supply 120V 30A you would need a splitter cable which would give you 2x 120V 30A outlets. Each of those 120V 30A outputs would be 180 degrees out of phase. To my knowledge that cable is NOT commercially available. Either have an electrician make one up for you or learn about 240V split phase power. Additionally, drawing power off of only 1 phase is potentially detrimental to the gen head & will likely wear out the engine prematurely. A better choice for an RV would be Westinghouse's WGEN5300 or the WGEN5300DF set to 120V output, which is selectable on the front panel (DF = Dual Fuel, Gas or Propane). I own one of these, a fine little genny reasonably priced w/ all the same features of the 7500.
No, THD is too high (23%), you need an inverter generator (THD 3%) for that application.
no, it's 30A
Yes it does. Not a very long one but, still pretty useful.
yes
I recommend you contact Westinghouse Customer Center at 855-944-3571 with your question.
When charging my WGEN 7500DF with the supplied battery tender, I only have an amber light on my generator (saying it is charging). Here is a link to the owner's manual (see page 27): https://cdn.westinghouseoutdoorpower.com/owners_manuals/WGen7500_manual_web.pdf
I generally manually push the choke on until mine starts (always quick) then push the choke open after it starts, this keeps from wearing the battery and starter out and provide near instant starts. They do seem to have a flaw with the choke closing enough but after running a while it has no problem starting on its own.
All depends of the size of your thank, but is a lot less then using gasoline
Century Fuel Products has a conversion kit specifically for this (and other) model(s) https://centuryfuelproducts.com/generators/conversion-kits/westinghouse/wgen7500df This is the route I will probably go
