Works but don't buy if needing to roof vent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this a month ago to replace the smaller 1.7cu ft. Whirlpool that died after 7 years. I'm okay with planned obsolescence considering the price--Whirlpool just means something different than it did 30 years ago. Works well enough. We use 5000k light bulbs in our house, so I tried to switch, but these no longer take standard appliance bulbs and Whirlpool only sells the more yellow bulb. Not a big deal--but they should expand their bulb color type that they sell. Outside of that, the only annoyance is the microwave forcing you to open the door anytime a job ends if you're trying to add more time. Why??
My complaint is the top mount option for the venting. The installation instructions call for you to slide the damper assembly into slots on the damper plate on top of the microwave. My old one has this plate, just like the instructions, but the new one does not. there's no way to attach the damper assembly. Tried to lookup the part, but Whirlpool only lists parts for non-warrantable appliances. Transferred me to warranty, and the model is so new, they can't find it either. how does no one at Whirlpool have access to the new model? So instead, they've twice now sent me a damper assembly (so now I have 3) and no damper plate, meaning I still cannot install my brand new microwave. The lack of communication between Whirlpool's parts and warranty departments is a joke and the amount of time and energy spent trying to get a damper plate sent is frustrating.

Great features, Simple to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this microwave a few weeks now! I’m loving the “sensing” feature and the interior is definitely lots better than the shiny dull white coated version. This is my first microwave with a metal rack and I’m terrified to use it. I need to do my research. Overall this is definitely a great purchase and I’d recommend Whirlpool appliances to anyone hands down!!

Good product
just finished replacing my old microwave. good for the price and size. make sure to remove the mini manual inserted inside the vent. you have remove the exhaust/fan and hopefully you can get pull it out. see pics attached.

Clean looking easy to install microwave
This unit arrived promptly and was a breeze to install. Matches the aesthetic of my home very well. Heats food up evenly and I haven't noticed any cold spots on food yet. Wasn't sure if whirlpool would make a decent microwave but I was mistaken. I would recommend this product to others.
