This video will walk you through the simple steps you must take in order to ensure a successful delivery and installation of your new Dishwasher from The Home Depot.
Please ensure the following prior to delivery:
- New dishwasher connection kit
- Water supply line (shutoff) within 6 ft. of hook up
- Electrical outlet within 6 ft. of hook up
- The rough cabinet opening must be at least: 24" W X 24" D X 34–1/2" H
- Measure your rough cabinet opening
- Verify your existing electrical and water connections
- Empty and unplug your old dishwasher

Great Dishwasher at a Great Price

Bought for utensil door basket, but long cycle
I got this in white as a replacement for a 12 yr old Whirlpool, that had a door utensil basket. I would rather open that tray door and take silver out by handles rather than grab forks/spoons/knives by the top/blades. So it's good in that respect, only thing is this was only a few of the d/w with the door tray and it has top controls and a handle. Had to get used to that. There's no quick rinse cycle on this d/w. The normal cycle & dry take almost 3 hours, so I sometimes use the 1-hour cycle & dry which is about 1-1/2 hrs and it cleans good. It's not too noisy. And lastly, the vent hole is in the top front and there's so much condensation, that the paint is peeling off and rusting underneath. This started happening after about 5 months.

Very Quiet, Cleans Very Good, Like the Silverware
The only negative comment I have, is this: the unit is just over 2 years old and the finish above what I guess is the heat vent has started coming off and the metal is rusting.

Screws randomly fall out
Three of the four screws that hold the front and outsides together just fell out and cannot be put back in. Less than a year old.

Dishwasher not drying properly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my home about 3 weeks ago and the Whirlpool dishwasher was one of the appliances. Unfortunately, even with the "Heated Dry" setting, may of the items came out Even with Heated Dry setting items came out wet.....not happy.....had to hand dry.
Also, the silverware tray is way TOO SMALL! I can barely get my fingers in them to get them out.

Will rust on vent- AVOID
Ive had this dishwasher for 3 years now and finally feel it’s time to review and warn others - do not get this. The washer? Does the job just fine. But it started to rust at the vent area right after the warranty ran out. We’ve tried everything (changed dishwashing soap, chiseled away and repaired/repainted, turned off steam dry) and it still continues to grow and grow. Im so angry because it was very expensive and matches the rest of our whirlpool appliances…minus the rust (giant eye roll)

Quiet and Powerful!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the quietest dishwasher I have ever owned. As a mother of five boys, it’s a losing battle to expect dishes to be rinsed before being put in the dishwasher. And when I say put in the dishwasher, I don’t mean orderly. This dishwasher doesn’t not care if dishes are rinsed or placed in the racks as designed. Over the past five months (how long we’ve had this amazing machine) I have had to rewash about three dishes. That’s a mega star in my books!
