YES! I have had this refrigerator for 3 months now and have filled many 20 oz glasses and 40 oz pitchers, and the water comes out cold for the whole fill.

This is a good sized refrigerator and has an excellent shelf configuration. However, after having it for only 4 months I had to call whirlpool for warranty work because it froze up from not defrosting and the fridge stopped cooling. The work was done after whirlpool first trying to say that I didn't have a warranty. Now at 6 months I am having the same problems as before and once again am having to get ahold of whirlpool for warranty work. My hope is that maybe the single unit was a dud and maybe I will get a new one from whirlpool. I certainly hope it isn't a problem with all of them.

Love the refrigerator section, however it has NEVER made ice efficiently, and water NEVER came out cold.At first we thought the ice bin was just too small for our family, then to find out it was freezing up. We have had to call for warranty repairs, for a total of 8 visits, each time completely emptying our fridge so they out so they can assess the problem or replace what seems to be the same part and NEVER fixing the problem for more than a few weeks. I would NOT recommend this to anyone!! We have a family of 5 and entertain a lot on the weekends, and NEVER have any ice for our family, let alone our guests.

The features on it bypass the Samsung we had that gave us problems for the 8 years that we had it. It has a lot of space, a great drawer for lunch meat veggies etc. The freezer drawer holds a lot and has a drawer for easily accessible items. The water dispenser is in the door and doesn’t take the space up in the refrigerator compartment. Best refrigerator I have ever had. My last Whirlpool is in my basement and is almost 23 years old. In one year I am now getting it "repaired" with the same problem for the forth time. The back freezes up and stops cooling. The solution today is to replace the evap cover because it isn't sealing properly and broken. of course it is broken 7 technicians have now pulled apart this unit. Everything has now been replaced. I am sure in two months they will be back out to repair this piece of junk. The worst part is we are part of the friends and family program because my husband has two family members that work for the company. Stay far away from this unit. I noticed others have had this problem. I would love to just throw it away.

Less than a week later the ice maker stopped working altogether. A repairman came out and replaced the entire ice maker assembly. Guess what, it did not fix the issue. Repairman came out a second time and has decided to replace the entire ice maker assembly, the valve assembly and the ice maker optics. He stated he was going to "shotgun approach" the fix by replacing all parts connected with the ice maker. I am awaiting his return with all the new parts. Hopefully this will fix the issue. In reading the reviews of this appliance, seems like many people have had the same issues. Had I read all the negative reviews before making this purchase, I would have spent my hard earned money on a different refrigerator.

I bought this fridge and started having issues with my ice dispenser after a couple of months. It would leak water, eventually completely jam up, and not be usable at all. My ice clumped a bunch and was generally useless. I went back and forth with Whirlpool for about 6 months before they finally replaced my fridge with a new exact same model fridge. After having it for less than a week the interior lighting stopped working. What a piece of garbage. I will never buy a whirlpool fridge again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Size I purchased an Ice White Gold Series for my lake house three years ago and loved it so much that I bought another one for my home. It is almost the same however they no longer provided a few items that were on the picture. The device to get ice and water is different and you have to be very careful or ice or water goes all over. You actually have to use a very wide glass. As for the rest of the refrigerator I love it. For a 27 cubic foot I can actually get more in it because of the way it is configured. I have always had over 30 cubic foot refrigerators and was afraid this would not work, but it is GREAT. Having the bottom freezer is also quite nice. This machine is not the same number as the one I got 3 years ago, but it is working for us. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
