    A:  PTD31324, Cords on Electric Freestanding Ranges are interchangeable because homes either have a 3 or 4 prong outlet. This is based on age of home and local zoning. If you have a 4 prong outlet, then you can purchase a 4 prong cord and install it on the current range. The 4th prong on the cord is a ground. Thank you for viewing this range cord.
