Wow, this laundry machine is awesome! It can wash everything in one load, and forget loading soap…put a liter in and we’re good to go for 15 big loads of towels, clothes, blankets, etc. We have done it all this week, including rugs, and microfiber towels and mop heads, and everything has come out clean. Favorite features: 1. Huge capacity: I can get so much laundry in this thing and it comes out clean. 2. Load and Go: put a liter of soap in the dispenser, and I don’t have to add soap to the laundry for the next 15 loads. 3. Rinse button: starts the water faucet so I can rinse my hands off after dropping in the laundry. I love this. 4. Little stain brush WITH soap: this is awesome. A little container of soap, a push button top to drip soap into the bristles on the face, and I can scrub stains quickly, plus rinse my hands off with the water faucet. These two things alone are reason to buy a new washer. 5. Pretty quick. It is not much slower than our previous washer, an agitator-bar model we selected two years ago because the agitator bar was supposed to be so much better at getting clothes clean. I would guess this machine is 10 minutes longer run-time, but the water efficiency was way better with this machine, plus I’m washing half-again as many clothes as the old machine. My wife considers this a win for the new machine—the less she needs to get up and down to take care of laundry the better. If she can get 3 loads of laundry (old machine, which really was only 2 years old) in 2 loads (new machine, same footprint, way more clothes), so doesn’t care how long it takes. Does it clean well? Yes, absolutely. We have a bunch of little kids, so mud is a normal thing, and it has all come out. We also have animals, and my wife likes to use towels and blankets for the guinea pigs instead of bedding—we shake out the “fertilizer” into our garden or yard, and then wash those three nasty things. I can tell you, as the main folder of rags and such, this washer is cleaning perfectly. I thought the smart functions were silly, and now I’m almost convinced they’re great. I downloaded the Whirlpool app, connected the washer to my home network, and it found itself and I don’t even remember the installation, so it must have been easy. Here’s why I really like the app: I can build a custom wash program in the app intuitively by just scrolling through the options—soil level, water level, temp, spin speed, extra rinse, etc. After the load is done I have the option to have a message sent to someone who will be home to switch the laundry over or air dry. That’s cool so clothes don’t get spoiled. Another cool thing about the app so clothes don’t get rancid is the remote start and the delay start (just like your dishwasher). The remote start is just that—load it up with blankets and towels and all the stuff you don’t want to deal with after a long day, and when you’re an hour or two from home, open the app and start the load. The soap is already there from the Load and Go dispenser, clothes are in it, lid is closed, and now it’s running without you having to hear it, and instead you return home to a double-rinsed perfectly clean load of laundry that just needs to be switched over, unless you trigger it to send a message to whomever is home to switch the laundry to the drying when it’s finished (i.e. when the washer is finished and the load is ready to go to the dryer, that is when the message gets sent, so no one can say they forgot).

It's a great size, has the built-in water faucet and has water entering the tub from the front and the back of the tub. The built-in faucet has a button you can push to allow water to pre-soak the clothes. The see-thru lid is a great feature because it allows you to see into the tub to see the clothes in there while washing. You can actually see the washing in action. The washer only weighs 165 lbs and is easy to move around to put it in place. It is energy efficient, only using something like $26.00 of electricity per year in most cases. The little scrubby brush is well placed in the area above the tub and holds a generous amount of soap for pre-cleaning stains. Home Depot has versions of the washer on sale right now for between 10-40% off the list price, a great deal.

Will get the cons out of the way first on this washer. First of all, the wi-fi app for Whirlpool smart appliances is about one of the worst out there. I consider myself tech savvy but this app would not let me connect this washer to utilize the "Smart" features. That being said, I really do not care about this function but just putting it out there for others to decide. Secondly, this washer is pretty noisy when doing the agitation part of the wash cycle. Not like falling apart noisy, just plain noisy. That being said, the tube is nice and large. Washes both clothes and bulky items like sheets, blankets and small rugs well. Wi-fi problems aside, it is a very featured washer and seems to be of high build quality. Overall would recommend with a previously mention caveat.

"WHIRLPOOL", long time player, who has ALWAYS been a staple of quality, dependability, and class. I am presently washing a load, and have to aquaint myself to a digital way of washing. But let me state, this machine is quiet, real quiet. I hav yet to read the instructions, but the dash is a bit intuitive. Being I do all the washing I will sit down and read the manual. But do I recomend this machine, "HECK YEA I DO." Kewl little viewing screen. Oh the delivery crew where the best The best. Plenty of calls prior to delivery, and thena stellar crew. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced a Maytag Bravo(only lasted 6 years)and wow what a difference Just to mention a few things Having a soak cycle (that have choices on how long), the ability to bypass the water saving feature and pick your desired water level. the detergent dispenser that will allow you to dispense for multiple loads and adjust the amount dispensed. As well as a ton of cycle selections that gives you the ability to do every possible washing need. The oversize load capacity is wonderful. Absolutely perfect in so many ways!!!!

Works great but the instruction book is minimal, complicated to figure out how to operate.

Does clean or work well at all. Less than a year after purchase the lid latch fell off and had to be replaced.
