How many watts does it use - start up and running?
I have to say I am impressed. The dryer is great and I love that when the clothes is dry it will stop many times before the time is up. The sensor dry is awesome. I am very pleased and I know it is a energy savor. Great purchase we made. We just going to add a shoe rack to it and that will be that. The purchase pr,ice was right in my budget.
Is chrome shadow the same color as stainless steel?
It’s darker, more of a gun metal grey.
The dryer is a beautiful grey, with black glass on the door and black control panel.
I have whirlpool stainless steel kitchen appliances and this washer and dryer are a little bit darker in color. Absolutely beautiful, but if you have a stainless steel washer and you're trying to match it to this dryer, there will be a slight color difference. Hope this helps!

Hello markus! The door would pull down so the handle is in the middle of the dryer door.
The door doesn't open left to right or vice versa. It opens from the top and opens flat out allowing you to be able to lay clothes on the open door as you fold, or remove the clothes. It is a dream to have this small luxury. I appreciate the convenience it provides.
