Tom's new Whirlpool washer
My old washer was a tiny one, so I had to do a bit of surgery on my door frame for it to get into the room. Once I got in in, I found the hot water heater drain valve was in the way, so I had to fabricate a riser out of two by four's to fit over the valve. I am very pleased with the result. The washer is very quiet and almost twice the capacity of my old one.

It was the only 25.5 inch unit I could find...
It was the only 25.5 inch unit I could find to slide down the basement stairwell. Not a great product. Let's hope it is durable and lasts for 20+ years, right!?

Don't buy this washer!
We purchased this washer because it is being sold as a commercial washer when it's not. We have to wash a load two to three times to get the material clean. I am very unhappy with this product. Whirlpool /Maytag has poor customer service and tell us to call Home Depot who has been helpful. This is an expensive residential machine that is in no way a commercial washer. In fact, when the repair person was sent out to inspect it, he told us that the machine was often complained about because it is sold as a commercial washer but it is not. Don't buy this
