Q:How does this product attach to the wall

A:  This does not come with hardware to mount to wall due to we have no idea what kind of surface you are mounting it to. For best results on exterior siding, we recommend that you locate a stud , behind the wall surface and use a #14 x 3" wood screw or 1/4" x 3" lag bolt. For brick, ,masonry, or concrete walls, use a 1/4" masonry anchor or toggle bolt.

    A:  Need a flat surface for attaching. So, I use an additional peace of wood for attaching to the wall with siding.

        A:  The space between the horizontal holes (across top of bracket) are 12" The space betweenthe vertical holes are 4 1/2"

              The hose holder looks amazing! I am unhappy as the assembly screw heads protrude out from the back of the fastening(Black) plate. Luckily I was able to turn the screw heads smaller so that they did not stick out and the hose holder installed flush.
