Does it have a defrost drain valve?
The Whynter CUF-210SS is a manual-defrost freezer and does not have a defrost drain valve. During defrosting, the melted water should be collected and sponged out from the bottom of the freezer. Is there a tray inside for water when you defrost?
The Whynter CUF-112SS does not have a separate water collection tray for defrosting. The unit requires manual defrosting, and during the process, water should be sponged up from the bottom of the freezer as it collects. The interior dimensions of the Whynter CUF-112SS are approximately 13 1/2" W x 13 5/8" H x 12 7/8" D. Does this self defrost?
The Whynter CUF-301SS is not self-defrosting. It uses a manual defrost system, so frost should be removed periodically by turning the unit off and allowing the ice to melt. Can this freezer be stored sitting on it's frame instead of it's feet? Table is not wide enough.
For the Whynter CUF-210SS, we recommend keeping the unit upright and positioned on its feet as designed. Placing the freezer on its frame instead of the feet may affect stability, ventilation, and proper operation. Please make sure there is enough clearance around the unit for proper airflow.
