Iffy activation process...with another disappointment.
my wife and I purchased four bulbs. Downloading the app was a breeze. The step-by-step setup should've been just as easy, but alas, was not. It took multiple attempts to get the each bulb connected. Note that the process initially involves turning tbe light off, then on. if that doesn't work, the process is repeated - from the beginning, turning the light on and off three times. Still no connection, next step, start from beginning and turn light on and of five times. This process was repeated about 3-4 times, per bulb. shouldn't be that hard. We also found out after the installation was done that only one phone can operate the lights. Trying to set up a different device wipes out the setting for the phone that was already successfully set up. Once we found that out, all lights finally up and running.

These are a waste of money. We couldn’t connect them...
These are a waste of money. We couldn’t connect them via wifi, even hooked up a wifi extender within 7-8 ft of them and they still wouldn’t connect. For the ones that did connect it took multiple attempts and was far from an easy task. Next time I feel like climbing 20 ft up on a ladder I plan to remove and return them and install standard LED lights that are a fraction of the price and do the same thing
