This is an ideal furnace for new and replacement residential or commercial installations. The 120,000 BTU TM9E series 95% efficiency multi-positional gas furnaces have a 33 in. tall cabinet and are designed for installation in up flow, downflow and horizontal applications. These single stage, high efficiency furnaces are natural gas ready and convertible to propane (LP Gas) with the optional LP 347 conversion kit. Factory shipped for installation in up flow and horizontal applications, they can quickly and easily be converted for downflow applications in the field. Certified for Category IV venting and may be vented either through a side wall or roof applications using approved plastic pipe as allowed by the National Fuel Gas Code. This furnace features an electronic hot surface igniter for increased safety and efficiency, a 5-speed maintenance free high efficiency ECM blower motor that never needs lubrication and self-diagnostic control module to monitor safe operation. The primary heat exchanger is constructed of tubular aluminized steel and has a stainless steel secondary heat exchanger. Factory assembled, wired and tested to assure dependable installation start-up. note: Requires 1/2 in. input to gas valve, dedicated circuit breaker and 120-Volt wiring with proper polarity and ground. 5 year limited parts warranty; lifetime limited heat exchanger warranty, 10 year heat exchanger warranty on commercial applications. What does the BTU and efficiency drop down to after its change the propane fuel

AnswerOnce you convert the furnace from natural gas to propane gas using the model # LP-347 LP conversion kit, and the gas pressure is adjusted properly by a certified technician, you will not see a drop in the output BTU and efficiency.
What is the difference in single and two stage

AnswerThe 2-stage furnace offers the variable speed DC blower motor which enhances dehumidification, and increased SEER ratings for your A/C system due to low power usage. In addition, because of the way the 2-stage furnace operates, you will have a more even comfort level throughout your home as well as a low sound level during the heating cycle. The majority of the time the furnace should operate in the first stage which is at about 40% of the capacity so the longer heating cycle gives a more consistent temperature throughout the home. Only on the coldest days, or when the thermostat is not satisfied after a certain amount of time will the furnace kick-in to the second stage to complete the call for heat. In terms of the most critical parts of the basic installation, the venting and condensate piping, both are the same for the furnaces.
