Installation instructions were clear; booklet was nice. Pictures helped.This unit has a sleek nice look to it once installed. There’s an app that is helpful; comes with a remote control. I have to to say the air coming out of this unit is very cold. I like that. It blows upwards and falls back down instead of going straight out and falling to the floor. Scan code went to a video how to install the carbon filter. Subscription was easy to set up, registration of the product was easy to set up. I’m very happy with the purchase. Thank You

Replaced an Amana 8,000 BTU a/c that was woefully inadequate for the large space in which it was installed. This unit cools the space very well and the controls are simple to operate and the unit cycles on and off reliably per the set temperature. My living area is now consistently a comfortable 72 degrees. The unit is also remarkably quiet compared to any other brands I have used in the past. I would definitely buy again if this unit continues to perform so well throughout the summer and fall.

I don’t usually spend time reviewing products but this one was definitely warranted. Purchased the 12,000 BTU with the hope that it would cool off (at least a little bit) 2 rear bedrooms that share a Jack and Jill bath room and it does! And it does it well with both bathroom doors open and the main hallway closed off...which far exceeded my expectations- the rooms are actually really cool. Packaging was A+ and the install painless. It requires no bracket and fits snuggly in the window. It’s been a few weeks now and couldn’t be happier.

We bought two of these; one for the living room and one for the bedroom. We haven’t installed the bedroom unit yet as we want to rearrange everything first. The other unit was installed in our living room in early July 2026. It’s been a game changer; so easy to operate and cools efficiently. Is it silent on max cool with max fan, no. But it’s also much quieter than any similar window unit I’ve ever heard. I didn’t think controlling it via the app and my iPad would be particularly useful, but it’s awesome in practice. Go to bed with it on, shut it off remotely when things cool off. The fixed angle for the cool air exhaust is also perfect. We were able to install it behind our couch without interfering with the airflow. Shoots right at the ceiling fan for full room distribution.

This AC unit is perfect with its easy installation, sleek design, energy efficient, quiet operation, and convenient Wi-Fi control. If I ever need another unit, I’ll definitely stick with this brand.

So far so good. But the description is right. Easiest installation ever. And everything comes with it. And it has a nice finishing panel that goes over the accordion style side panels. Nice clean look. The app is super simple and I like being able to turn it on before I get home. And set schedules for it as well. Cools the room I have it in pretty quickly. And Home Depot delivered it free same Day!!

We bought the windmill 8000 BTU and are happy with the product, although it is nowhere near as quiet as we expected. We were less happy with Home Depot Delivery failures, and their repeated failure to follow up on delivery delays despite three calls to customer service. Customer service was nearly useless, and we finally demanded to speak to a supervisor, who essentially contradicted everything that the first line customer service people advised. In the end of both were wrong, and the delivery experience abysmal.

However they have really good customer service. After sending a few videos they sent me a replacement! Francesca and Rachel and others were very responsive and nice. The new unit is nice and quiet. Make sure you register your unit! Hopefully this one keeps running smoothly. Note it blows out the top, not the front. Possibly a bit less efficient than others, so make sure you actually pay attention to the size suggestions and get the right size for your space.

I purchased this unit for an off grid remote cabin. Because the cabin has 12' walls the cooling area requires a larger window unit than a standard 12' x 12' cabin with 8' walls. Unfortunately I purchased the 5000btu unit and installed it only to find that on a 95F day it could only cool the cabin to 81F. The cabin is well insulated with the walls, ceiling and floor along with double pane windows. After doing more reading about why the 5000btu wouldn't cool the cabin I realized it was my mistake getting a unit that was not rated for the extra air space with 12' walls. I just finishing installing the 6000btu unit and this unit was able to keep the cabin at the temperature I set in on. I at first set it on 75 and dropped it down to 73 and the unit had no problems keeping the cabin cool even in 90 degree plus temperatures. The 6000btu unit in my opinion is quieter than the 5000btu unit and there was no need to run the fan any higher than the low setting. Since I'm on solar I checked the amp usage while the unit was running and it was right around 4.6 to 5 amps which my solar can keep up with easily all day long without any drain on the 200ah lithium battery. Once the sun dropped below the trees I connected it to our 2500 watt HF generator and let it run until it ran out of gas. Since the cabin is in the mountains the temperature drops to below 70F at night so once the cabin is cool even after the generator runs out of gas the cabin stays cool all night long. I did drop the temperature on the unit down to 70F before we went to bed, why not since we are using gas anyway. We did use the ECO mode at night and didn't hear the unit cycling while we were sleeping. Outside the cabin the noise level is barely even noticeable, we were surprised how quiet the unit was outside. The installation kit on the 6000btu unit has the insulated panels that hide the flexible side panels making the installation look much cleaner along with the extra insulation property. This unit is a keeper and makes our stay in the cabin enjoyable even in 90 degree plus weather. Takes care of the humidity, even in the mountains the humidity gets bad.
