Q:It has taken me over two hours of drilling the 3/4? hole through ceramic tile and i am still not finished. I also drilled a 1/4? pilot hole. Any suggestions?

Wing its grab bar fastners

Warning - Check Grab Bar Flange Hole Locations
The instructions do not tell you to verify your grab bar flange hole location. BEFORE YOU DRILL verify your grab bars have identical mounting hole locations (located 2 1/4" apart center to center and exactly the 12 and 6 o-clock positions) as the WingIts stick on templates . I bought two different sets of grab bars and neither set matched their layout. The flange holes were not at the 12 and 6 o-clock positions, they were spaced 120 degrees apart (3 holes equally spaced around the flange).

Little costly but it works in a pinch without having to rip open the wall to put backing in. I have also used these in tile walls and the Wing it bit works flawlessly.

Good product but there seems to be step missing in the instructions. You need to install the fastener into the face place/winglets to help push the wings through the drywall. Without the fastener, the faceplate doesn't push the wings through the wall. Once you figure that out, it's a great very strong product.

These anchors are the best invention since anchors came on the market. They hold sting especially when installed on existing tiled walls. Best holding strength I have ever gotten from an anchor without attaching directly to framing.

Wall Ruined,NOT compatible w/ GlacierBay grab bar!
Bought Glacier Bay grab bar to use on drywall Box says it’s WingIts compatible Instructions say same thing but don’t explain how to use w/ WingIts or what kind to use I asked HD person if the ONLY WingIts package they had next to grab bars was what I needed He said probably. Typical. Bottom line-THEY ARE NOT COMPATIBLE! Screw holes in anchor are offset from center & don’t line up with ridiculous 3/4” holes at marked spots. WingIts support says dig them out of wall & just return them!
