Perfect kitchen shears
I know they are not meant for the kitchen, but these shears are perfect for everything related to food prep. The micro serrated blade means that they get a good grip, and the comfortable handle stands up to food prep in large amounts.

I needed a pair of utility scissors for multiple uses in my shed and these proved to be perfect in several ways:
- great handfeel - the ergonomics feel right, very comfortable
- sturdy - these are stronger than "inside" scissors, and great for cutting cardboard, plastic, and even light wood
- serrated blade - one of the two blades is serrated, which helps hold round pieces from slipping while cutting
I'm not sure there's anything else I would have wanted in utility scissors - I'm very happy with these.

The Wiss 10-inch offset professional shears are excellent! It appears that Wiss and Crescent Tool are now the same company, but my excellent experience with tools from both manufacturers certainly seems to have carried over into these shears. They're solidly-built, well-balanced, and extremely precise. The molded plastic handles are very large, so they are easy to grip and could likely be used even with moderately thin work gloves. The shears came to me extremely sharp and I'm very pleased with their quality. These are excellent shears made for real work. I'm impressed and I highly recommend them.

These are sharp, have a nice comfortable grip, cut nicely, and seem likely to hold up in the long-term. Always great to purchase items made in the USA, and these fit the bill. Lifetime warranty is another great feature. Choosing tools that will last a lifetime is a important goal of mine, so these shears have many features that will fit that priority.

I do some auto retrimming on my project car. So I really needed a good pair of heavy duty scissors. The hit the spot. They are very sharp and comfortable to use. They are right handed though. I was able to slice through the new vinyl like a hot knife through butter. They have those finely serrated blades which grip as they cut and draw the vinyl through. Loved using them.

This is a high quality shear Very well made and durable. It is pretty heavy and the thumb hole and finger hole are very large. A little awkward for smaller hands and hard to use as they are heavy as well. They are very useful for someone who needs to cut heavy material but I would suggest trying these at a store before purchasing due to the weight and hole sizes to prevent awkwardness in use

The Wiss 10 in shear is much like a pair of heavy duty scissors for general use. It is made of sturdy materials with a comfortable and ergonomic handle and you can easily put your fingers through. I am 5 ft 7 with medium glove size, and don't feel it is too small or too tight to hold. It has a comfortable grip without squeezing your fingers. The blades are titanium coated and cuts through plastic, heavy cardboard, and multiple piles of paper like going through butter. I haven't tried leather, but it seems it would work well on leather and heavy fabric as well. The one I have is the right handed version, but depending on your preference you can also get a left handed version. I keep it hanging on my pegboard over the bench for small and medium cutting jobs. Keep in mind that it is not for cutting metal as it is also stated on the packaging. It has lifetime warranty, so you would enjoy it for many years. Overall, good sturdy pair of scissors to keep on your workbench, in the shed, or in the car.

Oh man, if you don't think you can love a pair of scissors than try these and thank me later! I have cut through regular things like butcher paper, but I have also cut through 1/16" mat-board, wooden popsicle sticks and rubber sheeting. These sheers handle anything I throw at them and more! I love that the blades have micro serrations giving them a good grip with anything you are cutting.
My favorite part aside from how well they cut is the handles, there is nothing worse to me than cutting for an hour and scissor handles digging into your hands, these scissors are extremely comfortable even when applying a lot of pressure. Just make sure to get them specific to your hand preference (left handed vs. right handed).
I loved them so much I made a holster for them in my shop for easy access!
