I believe so, they worked great for my vinyl siding.
Yes
Depending on the users wrist and forearm strength. I am 70 and had No Complications cutting 30" of roof flashing with my snips. They cut very well and are easy to hold a straight line with. Perhaps watch a You Tube video of that product? Many are not aware that snips should be held at a small angle when using, dependent on the shear for which direction.
I looked for the country of origin online from the product listing and found no answer for where the item is manufactured-so-I went to the toolbox, inspected all areas of the snips and still found no listing for where they are made? These snips function very well for the price. I use them a fair amount and am pleased with all uses to date. I make 10' length cuts without problems on roof flashing. They are great for straight cuts. Can't help you for the proper answer.
Hey Vader, There is absolutely no difference between the tools, just a slight difference in the packaging that the letters denote. Thanks!
