Wixey WR525 digital readout gauge can be adapted to a number of woodworking machines, router tables and router shapers. It comes with a remote display connected with a 3 ft. standard Cat 5E Ethernet cord that can be disconnected for easy installation and access. With the Precise Fraction Technology, it gives an accuracy of 0.002 in. (decimal) or 1/500 in. (fractions) and a resolution of 0.001 in. (decimal) or 1/32 in. (fraction). Also, it has a measuring length of 4 in. The large easy-to-read display reads in in. with fractions or millimeters. The WR525 includes easy functions like on/off, zero and mm/in for easy use. Plus, the auto shut off function extends the battery life. In addition, it maintains the calibration even when turned off.

Answer

Yes, swapped mine for Cat 7 cable. Cable has to be shielded to prevent electrical interference though.
