When this pan arrived without the glass lid inside I was disappointed, but the company quickly sent me the missing part. Then this fry pan impressed me by its performance.
It works on any cooking surface. I use an induction burner and it worked well and heated evenly - fried potatoes browned all the way to the edges! I fried an egg without butter, and even flipped it easily without breaking the yoke. I am very happy with this product that was made in Germany. This is now my 'go-to' pan that I can use for most of my cooking that needs a skillet.
The cast aluminum is not too heavy, but it has a good weight to it. The non-stick coating truly is non-stick and it has an elegant look to it with a bluish-gray color and sparkles. The glass lid fits exact onto the pan and the permanent vent that is built into the lid knob works great.
This fry pan is 2" high on the outside, and 1.5" high on the inside. It measures 11" across. The handle is 8.5" long. The bottom layer has a diameter of 8.25". It can be placed in an oven up to 500 degrees and is dishwasher safe. It comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

So I really wanted to try this frying pan, as I never used a cast aluminum before. I like my cast iron pant, but for some reason, I struggle cooking a few things on it.
The first thing I cooked on this was some French toast. I figured I would probably need a non stick spray, but decided to try it without first. I was really surprised that there was absolutely no sticking in the pan, even when there was sugar added and sticky.
Later in the day, I cooked a few steaks. All I did was pepper and salt them then threw them in on a high heat for sear. The pan was very hot, and put a beautiful, crispy sear on both sides. It was also great to see that the pan worked out so well.
What I really like is the extremely smooth, but heavy duty surface that this has, The only reason I dropped a star from this is
1. There is no steam vent on the lid, so sometimes it traps a bit to much moisture,
2. The lid wobbles a bit and does not site perfectly flush on the pan.
Other than the lid issues, it's easy to clean and cooks amazingly well. Thiswill definitely be used a lot in our kitchen.

Cast Aluminum Fry Pan with Lid – We have used this pan many times since receiving it and are not disappointed. The pan is heavy duty cast aluminum with a steel core which heats and cooks evenly and holds the heat longer than ordinary frying pans. It has straight sides that make it easy to sauté and remove food. The interior finish is different from other non-stick pans, it seems stronger. Our only complaint with this pan is the bottom is slightly domed causing oil to move to the edges.

This is a wonderful pan for sauteing homemade breakfast sausage patties. I'm able to fit between four and six patties in at one time. My patties are made from either ground pork or ground chicken and I like to brown one side and then cover and reduce the heat for six minutes to cook through. I then remove the cover and brown the second side.
This pan works perfect for my needs. It is non-stick so that the patties don't stick and has a cover. It is fairly thin, so I don't have to heat a huge pan and my patties cook all the quicker.
I've also used this to fry hamburgers and to cook boneless, skinless chicken breasts. It worked well for those purposes, too. It is not deep enough for a casserole but I have plenty of other pots and pans for that purpose.

This is a great fry pan!!! I like the size and the clear lid. It heat evenly, no hot spots and allows me to flip the contents without sending things flying. It is heavy enough to know it will last a long time but not too heavy. It cleans very well. I highly recommend this fry pan and will use this for a very long time. It truly is a really nice and functional pan.

This is a fine German made Woll brand pan. It has an excellent non-stick "PFOA" surface, which I guess is the new "PFE" standard. Heavy, but in a good way. Was enjoying how easily and evenly dinner was cooking when I found my daughter using a metal utensil to stir the dish. I warned her to always use a non-metallic spoon etc. when stirring. I was happy to see no scratches or swirls later. The vent built into the lid is very clever and I love it. The handle however is only held on by one screw. That's asking for failure. A couple of rivets should be standard. Being dishwasher safe is a real plus.

This is a very nice looking cast aluminum skillet. Since it was aluminum we were surprised and pleased by how heavy it is. It is very solid with a very good non-stick coating. The handle is well made and is easy to grip. The lid is very nice also. Although the documentation says it is designed for induction cooktops it works well on all types of heat sources. We noticed as we used it that the heat was distributed evenly across the pan. It also comes with a limited lifetime warranty, so if it ever indicates any manufacturing flaws it can be replaced.
