I bought the 2 gallon sprayer unit of ultra tawny cypress transparent wood stain/sealer. It was so easy to apply and I was done in no time. It dried a very nice color.
Just a few recommendations;
=practice using unit on a flat surface to get used to using it and to control sprayer
=use something like cardboard to cover closes to the house (siding), the mailbox, glass door etc
=as said in video, have a brush available to spread in areas as needed
=have a soap and water rag ready to wipe off any over pray surfaces as you go
Also, please note that when you have many spindles like I do it is going to lessen the coverage area from the "over spray" since it's not the same as covering a flat surface area. I recommend getting this product. It made this project so much easier compared to the traditional method using a roller and paint brush, especially with all those spindles. My time is worth money, and I am thankful.

Best product in the market
This is our go-to product to protect our dock. It has a warranty of 5 years but for us we need to apply it every 2-3 years because of the surface (flat horizontal, exposed to the sun, wind and lake water 365 days a year) We love the color, as it makes our dock look new even though it is not. Proctects is from all the elements extending the life of the wood. We highly recommend it. We used it before on a wood fence and it did lasted 5 years before we needed to reapply.

I used several containers of the WoodRx Ultra (Tawny Cypress)...
I used several containers of the WoodRx Ultra (Tawny Cypress) on several hundred feet of Civil War-era pressure-treated split-rail fencing (aka "snake rails"). Product sprayed on very easily. Like other reviewers, I would advise you to practice its application on some scrap wood (or a non-visible section of your fence/deck, etc.) to get a feel for its spray pattern, output, and technique. Like other reviewers, I found that its coverage was somewhat less than 300-400 sq. ft. For this reason, you would be wise to order extra. Time will tell on its durability. Overall, it's a great product. 5 stars!!!

I have a beautiful redwood fence which I wanted to stain as natural of a color as possible and still gain maximum uv/weather protection. I tried the "natural" and it was way too much of a honey mustard color. This one has less colorant according to customer service at WoodRx and worked a lot better for my needs. If you have any questions at all about the different stains offered, customer service is very responsive and just a call away. They can send sample stains if you pay for shipping. I tried out many before finding the right one. I like their stains since they're non toxic and don't smell terrible at all. I do recommend two coats. As many have said, the tranparent stains are very runny and drippy. I found a roller followed by backbrushing to be the best technique. Make sure to cover whatever you don't want stained and carry a wet rag with soapy water while staining so that your can wipe off mistakes while it's still wet to make it easier to come off.
