Woodguard posts are engineered to last by combining the strength of structural lumber with a low maintenance high-tech, permanent, polymer coating. Woodguard post are treated to prevent rot and insect damage above and below ground level while making the wood core resistant to the warping, twisting and splitting. Woodguard posts are much stronger than unreinforced vinyl posts and will not become brittle in cold weather.
