This is an extension cord with three separate outlet "taps", each of which contains three outlets for a total of nine outlets. At twelve feet it has good reach. All those outlets sound really handy but be very careful plugging anything but LED lights into it because the wire is only 18/2-Gauge. It won't handle a big load so don't use it to power any sort of machine or tool because it could be dangerous. Used as intended it should be great, however.

This 12 foot extension has many potential uses. My favorite choice is for Holiday light decorations. It is the perfect cord for Christmas tree lights because it has 3 multi outlet plugs, spaced a few feet apart, making it ideal for a central location on the tree.
I think we've all decorated a tree only to wind up with the light plugs in various locations. But with this cord, all of your lights should be able to reach.
In addition, it has a built in on off switch between the wall plug and the first outlet. Also the plug is fused so over loads are protected from over heating potentially causing a safety hazard.
The only thing missing is a remote control. But for me, that's all I need is another remote to keep track of not to mention, when you pack away the lights, should you also pack the cord with them, you have to remember to remove the batteries from that remote in case they leak. So I prefer to not have the remote.

When you need lots of places to plug in lights for your Christmas Tree this is the extension cord for you. Christmas is 4 months away, so I’m using the cord for powering a printer, powered couch seats and my computer charging cord. The extension cord is 12 ft. long and the on/off switch is located 3 ft. from the wall plug. Then every 3 ft. from the on/off switch you have 3 plug in points for a total of 9 plug-in points. This cord would also be perfect for a college student where dorm rooms have limited outlets and students have lots of things to plug in. I like the dust cover on the duel side of the plug-in points. The plug-in points are for only 2 prong plugs not 3 prongs with a ground post. I like the fact that when you plug in a device it stays plugged in the cord and won’t pull out. I would recommend this extension cord for low amperage devices like Christmas lights or chargers, low wattage desk lights, printers and internet conversion boxes. I like it!!

This is a Woods brand 12 feet long extension cord intended for indoor use that provides 9 outlets and has an on/off switch. It is perfect for holiday lighting needs. There are 3, three-outlet taps, spaced on the end and at 3 and 6 feet. Each tap has a plastic shield that fits into two taps acting as a cover when the taps aren’t in use. The switch is located 3 feet from the plug end. Cord is 18/2 gauge and the cord is fused for 5 amp, 625 watt maximum. I have used these cords for Christmas trees, garland, and holiday villages. Year after year, they work great. Be sure not to exceed the rated capacity of the cord

This cord has three 2-plug outlets run in series (about 2.5 ft apart) and also has a toggle switch for an on-off. The outlets run in series is not what I was expecting, although that is what is shown in the packaging.
The spacing of the outlets, in my opinion is not ideal for outdoor lighting where I need to light shrubs that are 4-6 ft apart. And they're not ideal for a 1 tree where I plug my lights together in series. The toggle switch is nice, but overall an odd extension cord that I won't find useful this holiday.
Set up of outlet - plug into wall, about 2.5 ft to toggle, about 2.5 to first outlet, 2+ ft to second outlet, 2+ to third outlet.

With the holiday season approaching, we started looking into our extension cords collection and seeing how are inventory is fairing. We decided that we needed some new cords to replace some older ones. This 12 ft multi-outlet indoor extension cord in green was a great addition for use with our holiday decorations. This cord is perfect for either lighting a tree or a village as it has 9 total outlets and includes an on off switch. There is roughly 3 feet between the multi-outlets. each multi-outlet contains 3 individual outlets.
Overall this will fit our needs for our holiday tree lighting perfectly.

Woods 12 ft 9 Outlet Holiday Extension Cord is 18 gauge, 5 amp, 625 watt and has two fuses inside the male plug end behind a sliding door that locks in place, one of those two fuses is a spare. There is an inline switch that has two walls to protect the rocker switch settings.They say the cord is not meant to be in continuous service past 90 days at a time, not sure why, it must have to do with the important UL rating that it has and they don't want a load left on the cord that has this many branches long term. Most cords don’t have a UL because it's so hard to get, they use the other one. The cord is a well made and is a durable cord so no worries there. Has a lot of information inside the package band. I am very happy with it.

This is a great extension cord if you love Christmas which my wife does. You know how you usually have to have so many cords just to light up one tree or you have a bunch of different decorations that all need to be plugged in and they’re all in the same place? Well, this is the cord for you. It is 12 feet long, but the magic happens when you realize there are three outlets each with three outlet taps. That means you could plug nine things into it! Since it’s UL listed, I’m not worried about electrical fires. It also has a toggle switch so you don’t have to unplug it every time you’re done with it.

We got this for use with holiday lights, which are only two prong - and that's all this extension can support. It works perfect for what we got it for, but I would have liked this much better if it was a grounded / three prong extension... it would have been more versatile / reusable during the rest of the year. I really like that it has a built in kill switch. That allows us to shut off several strings of lights without plugging/unplugging anything. I would have preferred a step on switch, but the inline toggle switch they used is functional and low profile.
