What you see is what you get. It's a standard electrical extension cord. But what I can say is that so far it seems strong and reliable. We've mostly used it with one of our vacuum cleaners, so that we can route through all of the areas of the downstairs. The coating seems to be particularly thick, so I'm not worried about rubbing into the wiring if the cord gets caught on the edge of a door frame, etc. The receptacles are strong, and they hold the main cord tightly. That said, you don't have to fight to cram in the end of the cord from your original item or device.

This is a pretty typical 3 plug extension cord, it seems to be reasonably well built. It is a little harder to push a plug into the female end of the cord than I would like.. Other than that no problems. The circle covers over the female plugs can be turned to close off or open up the plugs, so that you can keep kids and debris out of the plug. The cord is 16 gauge, 2 prong wire, so it is suitable only for light duty indoor use. One bad thing about this style of cord is that if what you are plugging in has a transformer on the end of it's cord is that you can only plug in two things. The cord measures about 15 ft 3 inches from end to end. All in all a decent light duty cord that does what it is supposed to do.

This is a review of the 15 ft. 16/2 SPT-2 Multi-Outlet (3) Indoor Light-Duty Extension Cord with Safety Covered Cube Power Tap. This is a basic indoor power cord with three outlets. The outlets have a spinning section that allows you to "lock" the cord so you can't plug something or more likely some one into the cord. This cord has a max amperage of 13 amps, so it is too light of a duty cord to plug really big loads into, but it is nice if you want to plug a clock and a lamp at the same time.

A well built indoor extension cord that I use for light uses in my shop. It has three plug in areas that you swing around to close them to prevent kids from sticking things into them when you are working and to keep dirt and dust out . It is 16 gauge and 13 amps that is polarized for your protection. It can handle up to three things, but you have to be careful not to trip a fuse with overuse.

This review is for the 15 ft. 16/2 SPT-2 Multi-Outlet Indoor Light-Duty Extension Cord with Safety Covered Cube Power Tap. If your looking for a cord for power tools use something other than this one. This is meant for light duty and can be used for lights, small appliances, etc. This extension cord has three outlets. 2 on one side and 1 one on the other. The nice feature about this cord is that the plug has rotating covers, so you are able to cover the outlets that are not being used. This is a great safety feature if you have small children and it also help to keep dust and dirt out of the outlet holes.

Woods 15 foot (4.6 meters) indoor, home extension cord is a 16 gauge, 13 AMP ( 16/2 SPT-2)extension cord made for light use. It is polarized for protection. Made in China, this extension cord has 3 outlets. Each outlet separately turns from a closed to open position for safety. Great if you have little ones, and even if you don't. You can see in the photo how you just turn the outlet cover and it will move to an open position. We are using ours for a fan that is just out of reach from an outlet. We will also be using this during the holidays for lights on the tree. Not a bulky cord at all. Fits well next to the wall on the floor and under furniture without much notice of the cord. Great for in the home.

You can never have enough extension cords! I got this extension cord because I needed something temporarily for a project. The 15-foot length is great. Also what I liked the best is that the outlets have covers so I can close any of them that I'm not using. It's a great safety feature. The entire cord is one molded piece so nothing will break apart.

I have already found two things that I like about this 15 ft power cord more than any other indoor cord I own. It is very pliable, and the part that you plug other cords into has two indentations, one on each side, to hold onto while you plug in or remove cords. With arthritis in my hands, this really does make it easier. Not sure why all cord manufacturers haven't thought of this.

I usually go with a heavier gauge cord just to have more versatility with it, but for light duty indoor use this 15 foot cord will surely do the trick.
Its polarized for an added measure of safety but being only two prong, its not a grounded cord.
Its safety covered power tap is the twist to shield or twist to open when plugging in something to one of the three outlets on the cord
If you want or need to use a cord with a ground available this one is not what you need.
Its green in color which will go well with indoor Christmas lighting but of course can be used in any indoor light duty application whenever it is needed.

This extension cord has three outlets. 2 on one side and 1 one on the other. The space between the two on one side is pretty generous and we are easily able to fit two plugs the have a pretty wide base. One of my favorite features that I haven't seen on extension cords is the ability to close an outlet. This is great because it keeps the outlet clean and free of dust. Its very easy to open and close no need for tools.
