Research Expected Bulb Life
I've owned this fixture 3 months and used it 4 times -carefully- for a grand total of 6 hours. The bulb burned out on the fifth illumination. No where in the product owners manual does it give a bulb model number or even describe the bulb wattage. Going to the website listed in the manual brings no results for this specific bulb. A close guess on any other 250 watt halogen bulb available locally costs $8.00- half the cost of this worklight-new.
I will have to research different work lights before I replace this bulb. Maybe I just don't know enough about halogen worklights in general, so I'm going to ask some tradesmen for advice to preclude another episode like this.
