This frame works with both the 6-1/2 in. and 4-1/2 in. Wooster Pro Mini Cage Frame Roller Covers. Works with all Wooster Jumbo-Koter (mini cage) Roller Covers, as well. A: Yes, the Wooster Sherlock Mini roller frame does have a threaded handle so it can be used with a standard threaded extension pole. It is also compatible with our Sherlock GT extension poles that lock Wooster tools in place.

A: As with all sherlock rollers point the open end (the end the roller cover slides on) of the frame down and hit the U shaped portion of the frame on the edge of a bucket or trash can with a hammer swinging type motion. You shouldn't need to hit it very hard usually just enough power generated with the flick of the wrist is all you need and the roller will pop off. Over time you will learn just the right amount of power needed to dislodge the roller cover but not send it flying into the trash can. You need to do this while the paint is still wet. Sherlock is the only roller frame I use they hold the cover on but release easily when you want to remove them (with the correct technique) the wire type frames have a habit of allowing the cover to walk off.

A: The Sherlock Mini offers hands free roller cover removal. Firmly rap the shank of the frame over a 5-gallon bucket, and the roller cover will come off into the bucket. A visual of this can be seen in the images for the item on dot com, along with in the video provided.
