This is for the chrome which I ordered by mistake, I reordered the brushed nickel same style/brand and light is exactly as discribed. Easy for husband to switch the contractors grade existing light (yuk) to this eye pleasing style. Pleased with purchase.

LOVE LOVE the Luray light
I am a woman and I installed this light in 5 minutes. This light is $10 cheaper than the hampton bay esdale and they are almost identical but this one has a heavier quality globe that I loved so I kept this one.
I love that you can use most any type of bulb you like as long as its not too long. I went with a led standard base bulb that gives off a white light instead of the yellowy cast lights that alot of bulbs do!

Great light at a great price!
I purchased 3 of these lights to replace flush mount lights that I just don't like the style of. I had researched multiple light fixtures, and wanting to stay on a budget,decided to order these. I figured I could easily return if they weren't satisfactory. No need to return! I was able to install the lights myself with no difficulty! I was originally concerned that they would not be bright enough because they have a single bulb (I replaced 2 bulb fixtures), but there is no need to worry. The light they emit is perfect. they do not cast shadows, but illuminate the space. No regrets with this purchase at all!

Nicer in person than the photo. Classic design
This lamp exceeded my expectations. The classic design would look good in any home decor-from 1800's to 2000's built home. Ours home was built in 1995, and I was at a loss as to what lighting to use to upgrade the living room. This light fits and is gorgeous. My husband installed it - giving it a 4 star because he had to make his own slight modification to adapt to a vaulted/slanted ceiling. The lighting is more of an ambient than a bright task light, but it warms the room and will be so nice to have in the winter months.
