The safest way to keep your trees looking sharp, the Worx 10" - 8A Electric Pole Saw is a well-balanced chainsaw that you can easily hoist in the air. Or, take off the pole and use it for regular chainsaw projects down on the ground. It's got a lot of bite for a 10" bar, and plenty of modern features that make it easy to use. With a 28 ft/s chain speed and advanced auto lubrication and tensioning systems, you'll always have a powerful saw at your disposal. The oil level window lets you know when you'll need to refill. And the auto tension knob will never let you turn too far to potentially damage the chain. This ergonomically engineered pole saw features a handle that rotates 180° so you can turn the whole saw on its side without having to turn your body. The pole attaches and detaches easily. The handguard protects you from falling debris. And an off/on switch on the bottom of the pole lets you start or stop the saw without bringing it up and down repeatedly. This is an electric chainsaw, so you don't have to worry about all the downsides of gas-powered tools: This saw will be less expensive to run and maintain, cleaner for both you and the environment, and much quieter. This is 2 saws for the price of one. Plus, it's the safer way to trim your branches.
[UP HIGH OR DOWN LOW] It's really 2-tools-in-1: A pole saw for trimming branches from trees, and a regular chainsaw for projects on the ground
[POWERFUL MOTOR] At 8 Amps, you'll get consistent performance and reliability from this streamlined machine
[AUTO CHAIN LUBRICATION] The automatic oiler will always have the chain operating at peak efficiency, for faster, more controlled cuts
[COMPACT & LIGHTWEIGHT] At only 10 lbs., this saw is designed to be held up high and to be maneuverable once it gets up there
[DO IT YOURSELF. DO IT BETTER. DO IT WITH WORX.] WORX tools are engineered with cutting-edge technology, and above modern efficiency standards, so you can build a cost-effective tool collection that's been designed to last
[AUTO CHAIN TENSION] This system prevents over-tightening, keeps the chain running smoothly around the bar, and places less stress on the motor
[TOOL-LESS INSTALLATION] The pole attaches quickly and offers up to 10 feet of reach, so you don't have to stand on a ladder to trim branches

Pleasantly Surprised!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used it to take down small tree in my court yard. Other than being a little top heavy the saw performed well above my expectations. Saw had plenty of power and was able to remove whole tree and the chain remained sharp. I wouldn’t recommend trying what I did but for the occasional limb removal it would be great. I also have the blower and vacuum that works great. Highly recommend Worx tools

Rugged
This is a one year follow up. I’ve cut down 4 trees that were 8-12 inches across. This saw totally impressed me. I would have assumed that it would have come with a poor quality blade but it cut today just as well as it did when I first bought it. It motors through everything I have used it on. The tensioner and oiler work well also. I definitely recommend this little powerhouse. Great fir backyard cleanup and tree removal.

Impressively powerful little saw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used only this pole saw (and some wedges and hammer) to trim around the powerlines, fell, limb, and buck two balsam fir trees that were 11.5in diameter and 50ft tall. It took longer than if I had used a larger saw, but it did the job fantastically. If I had a larger chain saw instead, I would have also needed a pole saw to do the trimming. This little beast got the job of two tools done. The chain stayed sharp and the saw never faltered. I loved how easy it was to use and it's lighter weight made it easier on my body than a full chain saw. I'm a Worx fan for life now!

Works great for what I need it for!
Bought this a week ago and it works perfectly for what I need it for, but I can't find the Serial Number on it to save my life. I looked at previous question and it said it's at the bottom of the sticker with the logo but I can't find it. Any help would be great.

I bought the Worx 309 10 inch, 8 amp electric chain saw (with pole) through Home Depot to cut down a very large apple tree. It took me about two weeks to complete the job and the saw worked great. I did not have any problems with the saw. It's very powerful, but using it on the extension pole is tricky, and you need to be prepare to battle a lot of angular momentum. Image holding up and controlling a 10 foot pole with a 10 pound weight on the other end. It takes a lot of strength and thought on how best to control it. During my time using the saw, the chain did have to be tightened 4 or 5 times, but that was easy to do. I would recommend the saw.

I got this to trim some Live Oaks in the yard. It did the job with no problem, cutting through some thick branches. Fully extended its a bit awkward, but with a little muscle it works great.
