Is the mulching blade metal or plastic?

AnswersThe blade appears to be cast aluminum, I've used my unit for 2 years now and the blade is holding up well, I do suck up small twigs quite often, but I don't think a plastic blade would hold up for long mulching twigs.

AnswersAccording to owners manual this unit draws 12 amps and has a cord chart, if your using a 5 Ft cord, you could use a 16 Ga cord, a 100 Ft cord needs to be at least 14 Ga, most 14 Ga cords are rated at 13 amps.

AnswersNot much. If you have a big pile of leaves in your yard - this ain't the tool for picking them up. It's smarter to shovel or use a rake to get the biggest piles up...use this for little piles.

I originally bought this with the attachment to have everything going through the mulcher to into a full sized garbage canister. My original yard I purchased this for had a deck that would get covered by layers of leaves. Invested in this to avoid paying lawn service. I had enough leaves it took 2 weekends and a lot of bags but the vac / mulcher had zero issues.
I ended up moving and put it in storage until I had a house again. Pulled it out this year for yard work at the new house and it works just a great. I found out it does not pull up pine needles in grass as easily as I had hoped but also not what I bought it for. Blower / Vac / Mulcher all work great.
Great for 372 days.

Purchased the product in early March of 2019, and the impeller began to wobble in the later part of March 2020.
I thought this was the answer to an annual leaf clean up process that I’ve done many years. In 2019 this product made it so much easier and saved me so much time. In 2020 the day started as it did when the product came out of the box. 15 minutes into leaf cleanup the impeller box started making an unusual whining noise and before I could turn off it started shaking in my hands pretty violently. I took it apart and cleaned it again to find a plastic “cap” dislodged. Now I will work with the company to come to a resolution.

Garbage. The unit itself is decent but the bag is terrible. Capacity is too small and the zipper is about as bad and cheap a plastic thing as you can get. So while the unit held up (I've only had it 1 1/2 seasons) the bag is toast and the thing it useless as a vacuum at this point. I'll stick with Toro which is what I had before I was 'sold' on this thing. The reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because it was nice to switch between blow and vac with just a quick turn of a lever.

We are using the vacuum function to suck up leaves instead of racking. The job is done faster with no back ache or blisters! It has not mulched the leaves as much as advertised (50% of our leaves were still whole), but we have only oak trees which have smaller leaves to begin with. The percentage of leaves mulched would probably be higher the bigger the leaves. Overall, we are pleased and would recommend it.
