The JAWSAW™, simply put, is the safest chainsaw on the market. Who would’ve thought a safe chainsaw was even possible. Our engineers did, and built a saw with such creative functionality and design that it’s the most innovative take on the chainsaw since its invention. What makes it so safe is its housing and retractable blade. The thick protective shell on the JAWSAW leaves the chain and bar far less exposed than on traditional chainsaws. The blade and chain are incapable of getting outside of the housing when in use. And when not in use they retract into the neck of the tool, so you’ll never have an exposed saw just lying around. You can even cut branches directly on the ground. Regular chainsaws require you to prop up logs and branches to safely cut them. But the JAWSAW’s protective housing acts as that prop so you can cut fallen branches directly on the grass or pavement. It’s only 7.9 lbs with the battery attached, that makes it easy to cut branches over your head, and just use in general. Its no-load speed is 1350 revs/min, so it’s got some bite to it. And the automatic chain tightening and oiling systems keep the blade and chain operating at peak efficiency at all times. This particular Worx 20V Power Share JAWSAW Cordless Chainsaw doesn’t come with a battery. It’s meant for Power Share users that already have some batteries at home. That’s the great thing about Power Share tools, you save money because you don’t always have to buy the battery.
[THE SAFEST SAW AROUND] The Jawsaw is the one and only chain saw with a fully protective guard. When not in use the blade retracts into the base. And because of that guard, this is the only chainsaw made for cutting directly on the ground. Leave the log right there on the pavement and get to work
[CUTS THICK BRANCHES] Saw through material up to 4 inches in diameter. And with its innovative single action cutting mechanism, you’ve never had so much easy to use cutting power
[SHARE BATTERIES, SAVE MONEY] Worx Power Share is compatible with all Worx 20v and 40v tools, outdoor power and lifestyle products
[THE CHAIN STAYS TIGHT] Auto-tension feature guarantees optimum tension at all times. This patented system ensures you’ll always have the most efficient cut
[THE CHAIN STAYS OILED] Features an automatic chain oiler with oil level indicator, which extends the life of the saw, the blade, the chain, and makes smoother cuts
[LIGHT ENOUGH TO USE OVERHEAD] The Worx Jawsaw weighs 7.1 lbs. without the battery attached. Not only is that light for a chainsaw – the even weight distribution and safety jaw guard bolster the tool and make it easy to maneuver around overhead branches
[FAST ENOUGH TO GET IT DONE] The no-load speed for the Jawsaw is 1350 rpms, making it one of the fastest in its class. You’ll appreciate the speed when you start making smooth, even cuts

the chain keeps coming off. How do I adjust so it stays on?
Asked by Lee June 23, 2020
I have two of them and that is a recurring event. I have minimized it by adjusting the chain as snugly as I can. When it does eventually come off, I take a break and reinstall it. MAKE SURE you REMOVE the battery before starting this.
What 20 volt ah battery should I use with this?
Asked by SSbear June 20, 2020
Only a designated worx tool battery! Using anything other than that may destroy the saw.
Asked by Lori June 13, 2020
About 12 pounds.
Can I add the extension to it?

Tons of vines to clear from a 1/3 acre area of yard, totally engulfed. Vines run close to ground so chain saw inneffective. Would this saw work?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At pushing 80, I resent my inability to work like I used to. The Jawsaw design allows me to get close to a more productive period of my life. The reliability, weight, and safety features (like all Worx tools) are unparalleled and the process that allows you to cut up limbs on the ground is ingenious engineering! The life of the batteries is still part of the problem - they last longer than I do!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a few weeks ago. Just had a rough thunderstorm hit this week. 80mph winds! Needless to say, numerous broken limbs and the top half of my neighbors huge elm was hanging over the fence in my yard. Neighbor is MIA so my sons came to help their old mom. Jawsaw worked flawlessly. It cut through numerous limbs of all sizes and ran for hours. Cleared what we could of the neighbors tree. I had no problem handling it myself although I did not attempt limbs that were up higher. Worth every penny, highly recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a few weeks ago and use all the time, So easy push down over your branch or small log then pull the trigger. As all my works tools best thing I bought and will buy more when I can

So good I had to buy a 2nd one
I bought my first one probably about a year ago and had only started using it a few months back when our Texas weather cooled off a bit because of my health. Once I got to use it on my fence line I was amazed at how easy it was to remove good size mesquite trees that were growing against and thru fence. You can get real close to ground without worrying about chain hitting dirt and cutting limbs took minimum pressure. Well about a quarter of the way thru I put my jaw saw on the fender of my tractor to move on to new section and never noticed it slipped off and of course I drove right over it. If I weren’t already baldy I would have yanked my hair out I felt so bad. Well I got some electrical tape and used my old volunteer fireman medic skills and put it back together and pushed battery in and boom I was back at till my new one that I ordered that night came in. If all your other products work as well as my jaw saw I’ll definitely be ordering more as needed. Thanks

Hi Arnie! Thanks for leaving us a review! We're glad that our tools are helping you get all that work done, and we hope the Jawsaw will continue to help you with many projects to come!
Thank you for being a loyal WORX customer!
I'm a big fan of WORX for sure, have multiple 20V and 40V products.
I like the concept of this saw, it allows relatively safe operation of chain-saw both on the ground and up in the trees. I have 22'+ high trees that I needed to cut by 3'-4'. I did not feel great about running with a real chain-saw in the tree tops, but this JawSaw worked really well! I really like the idea!
Some people complain about chain falling of, yes it does happen from time to time, but it can be fixed bare handed without any tools (or at least I learned how to do it). I'm not taking any tools up to 22', just a spare battery...
The BAD BAD thing is that it worked perfectly only twice. Then the motor did not start unless the pole was depressed, which made it impossible to cut thinker branches.... Since I needed to continue working the next day to finish the job, decided to take a look what's wrong. The cable in the pole was cut from the internal components. After two afternoons. Not cool. It looked as if the tool was not properly assembled, so it can be a quality control issue... WORX - please fix your quality control!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Jawsaw works amazing! It is so easy to use, light weight, and the battery lasts forever! Firewood for the firepit just became a mission! Time to ride the lawnmower and trim trees in the neighborhood for wood!
I bought this saw several weeks ago just in case I might use it. A few weeks later hurricane Michael blew through my yard knocking down several trees landing on my house and deck. I was skeptical at first thinking it would be hard on the batteries but I couldn't have been more wrong. I used it for over an hour and made over 30 large cuts and still had plenty of juice. This is by far the best saw I have ever had for cutting small limbs and brush. The design is much safer than a chain saw and actually fun to use. No gas, limited oil, easy chain tensioner and when you let off the trigger it is silent. It works as advertised and I would recommend it to any one who cuts limbs or brush.
I received my 20V JawSaw Cordless Chainsaw - Tool Only today. Same battery from my 20volt edger/trimmer "worx" fine. I would've still been out there but my mosquitoes had other ideas. My thied Worx purchase. I am a walking billboard for Worx Tools. Now, if they would only come out with a mosquito tool.
