Berkeley 48 in. Vanity Cabinet Only in White

This Vanity is built very good . Back of it has a removable panel for easy plumbing acces.

Beautiful unit. Came extremely well wrapped and protected. Soft close drawers work nicely. Marble top is very nicely polished. Well worth the extra expense. Home Depot people were wonderful.

Seventy two inch, white vanity (sans top) ordered from vendor (Home Depot) and tracked well (by shipper). Miscommunication as to delivery: vendor did not call to verify date/time, delivery was made when no one was home. Alls well that ends well, (large) item was moved into house during rainstorm; vanity looks great.

Very well built unit. Fit and finish is excellent. The doors and drawers are a little stiff to open due to the soft close feature (very nice). They seem to be loosening up a little with use. Counter top and sink look great with our other décor (full bathroom renovation). Note that the drawers need to be removed for plumbing hookups. It took a bit of study to figure out how to remove them. Neither the included nor online instructions showed how to remove drawers. That would be helpful. The medicine cabinet is a great compliment to the vanity. While it is designed to be surface mounted, we had our contractor recess it 3" to accommodate a light fixture we want above it. Came out very nice. The only issue we have is the little plastic decorative ring around the overflow in the sink is loose and the chrome coating is coming off. We will contact Wyndham for a new one. The units were packed extremely well. Not a single scratch or ding anywhere. Be aware that because of the excellent packaging, the crates are large and heavy. If you are picking it up, it's best to have a small trailer with a ramp. Home Depot can load the whole pallet in a pickup up but you will need strong help to unload it. We are very pleased with the vanity and the medicine cabinet. Even our general contractor and the tile contractor were impressed with the look and construction. We do wish Wyndham made a wall cabinet in the Berkeley line so we would have a matching one but we found one that will look OK with it.

Absolutely love this vanity and was exactly what I was looking for. The ONLY issue is the plumbing. It has to be EXACTLY lined up or the drawers will not work. We knew this when we purchased but still had a to make a few modifications. If you know what you're doing, it's worth it. Definitely a beautiful piece that will last for many years.

Very solid product and looks extremely nice. Product is as described. It's definitely a two string person to install

I bought 2 of these (a 60 and a 48) for a master bath remodel. We got the chestnut cabinet finish with white marble tops. The tops were very different between the 2 but both looked nice: just not like they were the same material. Unpacking these and disposing of the packing materials was quite a job in itself. I found myself in a mound of Styrofoam, cardboard, and wood from the crates and the pallets. The Styrofoam was a real headache. I had installed floor and baseboard beneath these thinking that the base would clear the legs. On the side it did, but the back legs were flush to the back of the cabinet so I had to remove them and move them over to clear the baseboard. they were attached with 3 angled screws buried in some white putty. The finish over this putty was rough and thin so the white stuff show with just slight abrasion. I found that sawing them off with a metal cutting blade on a sawzall was the least destructive to the cabinet. Installing the faucets is a super PITA with the drawers located under the sink. I use a 3 hole widespread faucet from kohler and it was about the worst possible one to use due to the difficult and leak prone connections that must be made under the vanity, and the bolts that must be tightened to fix the faucet components tightly to the vanity top. I ended up making all of the connections before placing the top, and then removing the top to fix leaks multiple times. Both vanities were mounted with one side flush to the wall. on one I cut off 1/2" of the vanity top so that the top of the vanity cabinet could be flush to the wall For the other I left the gap to the wall larger and just left the top as received and placed it flush to the wall. due to the center offset in the vanity top, it must be centered on the cabinet so that is why I had to cut marble for the first one.

This is a very high quality vanity. Arrived very well packed on a pallet. Drawers and doors have self closings pistons.
