Was great when it worked...
Bought this camera on 3/29/20, had issues with the image having lines through it and contacted support on 5/25/20 and responded to their emails with screenshots and all and never got a response. As of today 11/27/20 it has only gotten worse. I own a ton of Wyze gear, this the only Cam Pan and it has not left a good taste in my mouth.

Great until you upgrade the firmware
Camera was impressive until I received notification that there was an update. Once I updated the firmware my screen is green unless I go into night mode. Sucks when you want to have color visual during the day.

Gorgeous Camera that keeps on buffering often
This Wyze Pan Camera looks beautiful , got sharp video quality but it simply doesn't work most of the time with Alexa Echo 5 devices. When I try to see live view, it keeps on buffering every few seconds--making this camera completely worthless. Even when I try to use the Wyze App, the buffering continues. I have another regular Wyze Camera and that works flawlessly both on Wyze App and on Alexa Echo Devices. I will have no other option but to return the Pan Camera . There are other reviews about this buffering issue and it is blamed on the manufacturer's faulty software and hardware. I hope Wyze fixes this issue and replace the faulty cameras for the unfortunate buyers.

Terrible Night Vision
I love the camera during the day. But night vision is terrible. What are we doing wrong. Is there an adjustment that we can make. A setting change?

Good Value During the Day
Wyze cameras provide a great feature set for the price. I have two Cams, two V2 Cams, two Pan Cams, and subscribe to the Cam Plus service (which does not support the original Cams). The Pan Cam has three options for video resolution to let you adjust for quality vs. throughput, but even HD is less than 100KB/s and the picture is quite good. I have not used the motion tracking feature very much but must agree with other commenters here that it is not great. It moves around when there is no motion. Maybe it picks up dust particles passing close to the lense. The feature that disappoints the most is the night vision. The IR LEDs are simply underpowered. The specifications state that the maximum distance is 30 feet, but the actual distance is less than 10 feet. See the attached screen capture. It was taken 25 minutes before sunrise (3 minutes after 'first light'). The lens picks up the available light outside, but the LEDs can't light up the car in front of the Pan Cam. I recommend the Pan Cam for day use or if there is another light source during the night.

Good Camera
I really like this camera. The picture is clear and the sound/speak functions are great. And, being able to move the camera to see other parts of the house is excellent. I wish there was a "container" I could put this camera in (and the other Wyze cameras we have) that would conceal the camera so as not to be so obvious. I attached a photo of the "container" I made myself for our Wyze wireless cam. I'm getting some feedback noise when I use the speaker - but it does what I wanted for the most part.

Things the Pan Cam need!
I really like the cam. I love the price point. EZ set easy to use. You need to play with the settings to get it right. Very forgiving. Can't wait for the outdoor PanCam. But you should make it able to set a default position. Even if I move it after, a shot time it should default back to the point that I set. I love the share feature but. As the admin, I should be able to enable or disable the shared person's ability to make change the camera's settings. They should be as view only on their phones. Also it kept locking up my phone. After several minutes I could finally reboot my phone and get everything back to normal.
