The video says the ladder weighs less than 17 pounds but the specifications say 30lb. That is a big difference and a game changer for me. Can someone from the company clarify the confusion. Do you have the wrong video keyed to this ladder? What is the actual weight?
Asked by: Cindy
It's clear that everyone responding to this question does not have the same ladder. In the expanded description of the ladder there are selection boxes that provide different lengths and load ratings for 5 different ladders with weights ranging from 19 to 40 lbs. I have more faith in the weights there than in the video you may get, even though there may be 5 different videos.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I extended about 4 or 5 steps that clicked into... I extended about 4 or 5 steps that clicked into place. But to let the steps down, while depressing both side levers - which is hard to do, the top step came crashing down and pinched the skin between my thumb and index finger, making it bleed. While holding the levers, I couldn't get my hand out of the way.

I returned exchange another one, same thing problem, exchange again then the last one I use now but don’t know how long it happens again? I think it’s bad because made in China.

I have used telescoping ladders in the past and had pinched my fingers during the "closing" of the ladder. This one is engineered not to catch your fingers. It also was very solid with no give when extended fully or partially.

I got it because I climb a bunch of roofs, I had an adjuster use one and I always wanted to get one, it comes with a nice strap and carry pad to tote around and is very durable. My only regret is that I didn’t get the longer one.
