LOVED IT
I received it last week… I dug my first hole today, I have never used one before and I was a bit skeptical to use one. So I kept putting off the project for a few days. Finally today, I grabbed it and went to town with it. Big beautiful hole, definitely powerful and easy to use. Smooth trigger.

Almost Too Powerful
I've been using this auger head to drill in rocky Ozarks soil. It works great, but hold onto your boots if it hits a rock or root, and roots are surprisingly much worse than rocks. A tree root flexes just enough to get you and the auger head spinning, while a large rock just hits the limits of the clutch instantly. Both can and will hurt your hands, elbows and shoulders. If there are no tree roots (or rocks over 2 inches), one person can dig with ease. Smaller bits are much easier on your body.
