Product Details

Our YARDGARD 2-3/8 in. x 5 ft. 6 in. 16-Gauge galvanized steel terminal post is part of the fence framework and helps support the chain link fabric. The fabric is stretched between terminal posts. These posts can be used at the end of a line of fence, at a fence corner, or for gate posts. Terminal posts should be 18 in. in the ground. This post is used for a 4 ft. high chain link fence.
  • Galvanized for longevity
  • 5 ft. 6 in. in length, but should be placed 18 in. in the ground for maximum support
  • 16-Gauge wire
  • Provides vertical framework support that the chain link fabric
  • Connects the fabric to the terminal post with tension bar and tension bands

Q:Ok, this is for a four foot fence, yet it's only 5' 6". That only puts 1' 4" in the ground? Is that enough?

A:  Yes it is plenty for a 4' fence.

    A:  We put them in 18 inches in the ground and concreted them in. That left us 4 feet to attach fence to and had no problem with them.

    A:  Worked fine for my 4ft fence. Because it’s shorter, doesn’t need to be 2 ft deep
