I am using the fencing to build a railing around a second floor deck. It is easy to work with and seems to be very sturdy. Instead of using the Yardgard frame, I cut slots in 2x4s. The panels slide in to the slots, to lock them in place. It feels like it would be very difficult to push out, which is exactly what I was hoping for. You can sit and look through it, but also feel secure that no one can fall through it.

Fleur-de-lis De-Lis medallions for fence
I had to buy a fence for my 2 little dogs and I really liked the look of the fence. When I picked up the gate boxes they showed the fleur-de-lis medallions on them and loved the look so after the fence was complete I bought enough of the medallions so I had one in each section including the gates. I still love the look of the fence and am happy with the look with the medallions on it.

Best purchase ever with THD. Best Looking Fence Around!
I was looking for something a little nicer than normal black chain link fencing. I could not be any happier with my recent purchase of YardGard Select. The whole installation process went smoothly. I am a beginner when it comes to installing fencing systems, but the whole installation process went smoothly. The most difficult part of the job was digging the holes for each post. (Make sure you rent an auger). It will save A LOT of time. The instructions that came with the fence were well written with multiple diagrams to show examples. NOTE: It is very important that you get the length and height of each post at the desired measurement. It must be near perfect for the fence panels to fit and look the best. Also, the videos posted online at homedepot.com were useful as well. I installed over 200 feet of fencing in one weekend. The holes honestly took the most time. Once you have the posts set in concrete, the rest of the fence took only a few hours. I have received compliments from my neighbors on the color, quality, and durability of the fence. The fence also adjusted to the terrain of my yard (as you can see in pics). If you are looking for a fence and you don't want the normal (chain link), invest in YardGard Select. You will not regret it. Great, Great, GREAT fence!

Dog-Pen
I bought this fence to build a dog-pen (32'x28') for an apartment complex. The fence is very easy to put together, but note that the mesh-fencing will only go the distance of two top-rails at a time. For example: we chose to put posts every 8 feet on the long side (4 8-foot sections making 32 feet long) and 12 feet on the short side (2 12-foot sections and a gate making 28 feet long). The fencing provided does not allow you to chain 4 sections of fence together to reach from one end of 32 feet to the other, you have to take the middle post and use it as a terminal post. (there are brackets designed to stick out from the terminal post, effectively reducing the distance the mesh-fencing needs to go by about an inch, thus if you chain four sections of fence together, it does not reach 32 feet, it reaches about 4 inches short of 32 feet, which is too short to connect to the brackets on that end.) So what I did to avert this problem was to put the brackets on the corners, and on the middle post and this worked fine. On the 28' side I broke the fencing into two 6-panel sections and terminated each section on the post in the middle (12' in) because likewise, 3 sections of fencing don't stretch quite enough to make the 24' length I needed. Outside of that, my fence was on a slight slope, and it looked great I felt. The fencing steps with the slope and looks fantastic. The tension wire holds the fence together well - and indeed the fence is used to keep in small dogs, which the residents have praised highly. They love the new dog area, and it is working great for them. With this fencing system we got a fence that looks great, is not expensive, and is very sturdy. It does not intrude on the visual environment, and it looks way better than Chain Link, while still being see-through (which was important to us for security and observation reasons). Also, try to find a way to stand the gate up and test it before you cement it in, it's hard to measure for. Also, the hinges are a bit loose, so they let the gate hang down a little too much, we supplemented this by sticking a washer in the loose space of the bracket to tighten it up and keep it as close to upright as possible.
