Only use non ethanol gas , regular gas with ethanol will cause : all rubber to deteriorate, needle in carb to get stuck , foul plug and ext... especially when storing .

Not to seem like such a "noob" because i've dealt with and had many mowers in my life BUT... Where exactly do you add oil into the engine? There is a small yellow "cap" that doesn't seem to come off but other than that I can't (for the life of me) figure this out?!
Asked by: DaveG
The cap to this lawn mower can be loosened with a simple turn either with a wrench or screwdriver. All caps to oil chambers are designed to fit tight. this tight fit prevents the oil to come flying out when the machine is in operation

Yard Machines 20 in. 125 cc OHV Briggs and Stratton Gas Walk Behind Push Mower is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 1203.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded expectations! Great little mower! My 92yr old mom had been calling her regular "lawn crew" for over a week before they called back and told her they had moved....By the time she called me her grass was over a foot tall and nearly two feet tall in some places.. I got online and purchased this mower for pickup at the HD near her house.. Got it to her place, uncrated and folded the handle into place , added oil (included) and gas, fired it up and mowed the jungle down. OK - Up front: this is a bare bones 20 inch mower for a low low price - so you can't expect self propelled, bags, mulching etc....But for the small amount spent it's a little workhorse. Sure, in the wet, two foot tall grass I did have to slow a few times, but I was amazed at the fact it didn't want to bog down where my larger more expensive mower would have. Frankly I wasn't expecting a lot for $149.00....I just hoped it would work enough times to keep mom's yard manicured through the season - I was very pleasantly surprised - THIS LITTLE MOWER IS GREAT!!!

I used it 4 times and drained the gas to store it in my garage for the winter. I got it out on 4/10/2019 and filled the tank with gas and it would not start. I checked the obvious things like the air filter and spark plug connection. It still has not started. I would not recommend this mower to anyone. It is still under warranty, but I will have to load it up and haul it about 25 miles for the service technician to evaluate it to determine if it is a factory defect. If is is not a factory defect I would likely owe for a diagnostic fee plus any repair fees. It wold be cheaper to purchase another mower. Let this be a warning. Stay away from the big box stores to purchase lawn care products. I can work on equipment like this but I do not want to have to keep repairing things that are under a warranty. Finally, I do not recommend any equipment such as this from ytd, yard man, or anything sold at home depot or any big box store.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little lawn mower! This morning I cranked up my little lawnmower for the first time this season. This would be season number three. No gas stabilizer, no draining fluids for the winter, just park it behind the shed and lock it up till spring. Well, after starting it this morning, it would not stay running until it warmed up, then it would stall at the slightest bit of resistance. Took the air filter off (for the first time) and it was pretty mucked up to I replaced it. Still same problem. I had just added fuel to the tank so I knew it had gas. Then it occurred to me the gas in my can was not fresh. A quick run to the gas station for some 92 octane (I usually use regular, but was going to mix it with the old gas already in the tank). It spit and sputtered for a few seconds after restarting it again with the fresh fuel mixed in... and voila. She purred like kitten and muscled through some pretty think grass and leaves. I did not like the fact that there is no throttle adjustment, but in the three years I have used this mower, the preset throttle has been just fine. This was not an expensive lawnmower and I have not tended to it like I should, yet it keeps on going strong.

Well, I bought another one just like this 3 years ago and it lasted 3 years. I bought the second one because it's all I could afford. The remainder of this product review will be about the first one. It cut the grass for 3 years and my grass looked nice. There's no height adjustment on the wheels but the grass looked nice so I guess it's okay. There's no bag so I just tell myself it's a mulching mower and I believe myself and live with it. It's small and it fits in the shed if I break down the handle bar in the middle (which by the way, the thumbscrew thingy broke on one side so we then needed a wrench to break it down). And the grass looked nice so its okay. Also the extended warranty was a joke. So if this mower is all you can afford I recommend it, otherwise spend the extra dough and buy one that lasts longer, that has wheel adjustment, that has a bag and doesn't have plastic parts that break.

Mowing forward in some 3-4inch high grass it stopped working had to wait about an hour before it would start again. Runs real low hardly working at all. Can't adjust throttle control because there's none. The flap in back of mower is to long in my opinion when you back mower up the blade catches it. No I would not buy this again. No I haven't returned to home Depot but I'm getting ready to. Thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I needed This mower's light weight was the attractive feature for me. I don't need to bag. I only mow my lawn so I don't need levers to raise and lower the mower. The height can be adjusted, it just requires tools. The factory shipped middle height looks good to me. Crankcase oil is included. The fuel tank holds enough gas to mow my 1/4 acre lawn then I just run it empty for storage. There is no throttle lever, it automatically regulates it's own speed. There is considerable vibration transmitted up the handle to grip (noticeable after 90 minutes) so I added a length of pipe insulation to the grip for padding next time. Don't seal it closed, so you can get the grip lever to the handle.
