how many horse power is this 125 cc

Hello David. We specify our engine size and capacity using engine displacement (cc), because it is highly reliable and consistent. We do not provide horsepower ratings, and there is no direct mathematical conversion to calculate engine horsepower from engine displacement. Thank you for your question.

Very lightweight, not sure of the exact weight. But it's not meant for tall people. I cannot use it for more than 5 minutes before my back hurts so bad from having to bend over to hold onto the handle that I can barely walk to a chair to sit down! It's a piece of crap!

You should read a book on how to take care of a tool that has a gas engine... If you don't drain the unused gas out of it every end of mowing season, you have to add a fuel stabilizer so that the gasoline doesn't go bad and clog up the passages in the carburetor... Depending on the gas that you put in it, this process of the gas turning into sludge that won't go through the carburetor and will clog up and ruin the carburetor will take less time than the mower sits unused... That means the next time you try to start it, it won't run and will need to be repaired because you didn't take care of it... The fact that they won't start is not the fault of the mower, it's pretty much entirely your fault... If they didn't run when they were brand new, you'd have taken them back, right? So they did run, but the next year they wouldn't start... My question is, how come you bought three of them before you asked a question that someone who knows about engines could tell you that it's your fault? :-)

Where is the primer

Asked by Vin44 June 23, 2020

Answers

It doesn't have one... That's an additional cost extra, that doesn't come with this level of product. The first time you start it for the year it might save you some time and energy to buy a little can of starting fluid... Spray a quick blast in the carburetor and it'll start much easier. This is especially true if you've drained the gas from it before you put it away the year before. It can take quite a few pulls to suck the gas into the carb and be available for the engine to start.

Is a mulching blade included?

Asked by GRoy June 19, 2020

Answers

No... This is a very basic lawn mower, it comes with a blade that cuts grass.

downsized from 2acres and a riding lawnmower, to a townhouse and a yard not much bigger than a garage. bought this summer 2019 and it worked well; easy to assemble and it only takes about 15minutes to cut the entire yard. adjustable height is easy, and it seemed to do well, Year 1. Year 2; after garage kept, it cut once with no problem. the last two attempts, when trying to start, it would 'catch' then cut off even before i start pushing. as others have stated, no - i didnt change the olil nor the filter nor do any other "annual" maintenance, because i've never had to on older models of the same....AND it cut once this season already. disappointed that the newer models require such maintenance. (minimal though it might be) However, i took off the cover and noticed that when i added gas, it immediately leaked out in this location (see pic). after discussing with the fellas at the store, they advised that 'filling the gas' beyond a certain height, allowed the gas to flow through this spout, onto the filter, soaked the filter which clogged the filter, which prevents air flow. as such, it keeps cutting off. they have advised that i dry out the filter (or get another one), dont fill it past this "invisible line", and see what happens. Buying a filter today and will update. (but why would one know where to 'stop' adding gas, when the instructions state "pour to the filler plugs". this doesnt seem right to me, but i'll update when i get a new filter and try starting again.

This is my second lawnmower. The first one had a oil leak the first day I put oil in it to cut my grass. Return it and got another now this one has a issue with the primer. Gas is leaking out and not getting fuel to start mover. I have taken off the cover to see what may be going on but everything seems to be ok.

So happy I found an affordable mower. Put the oil in and the gas and started up great. Needed to make mower LOWER. This is where the problem began. Ridiculous! Why not have a lever like every other lawn mower in the world? Nope. Got to take both front tires off to set at a lower level. Meanwhile the BOLTS might as well be Welded on. Took 4 people and still can’t unloosen. All I want to do is mow the grass. Like a slap in the face

The "adjustable height" requires a ratchet and a wrench to physically move the bolts. Not user friendly. The other bolts on the handle are required to stick outside the handles, instead of safely inside No adjustments on choke. Cuts fine but you get what you paid for.

Out the box, the little mower was fine. It came with all the components needed to get started, oil, air filter, etc. Quickly assembled, and ready to work. Not the most powerful little guy, but I chalked that up to being the trade-off for such an economical mower. Thus, I was patient with it when I'd have to ease up off some of the thicker or denser grass, and give it time to chew. But I was wrong. The real trade-off was that this garbage piece of machinery did not start the next season. Now, the following will make half of those reading balk and blame me for this issue, and fail to understand my complaint, but regardless, I believe in being transparent. Over 10 years ago, my Family purchased a Yard Man push mower, 625 series. I have never, NEVER done any sort of maintenance on it. I have abused it. Mistreated it. Neglected it. All of the above. If I changed the oil ONCE in those 10+ years, it would be a surprise to me. I know. I know this makes me a bad mower owner. I get that. My point is, despite all that-- despite even the 8 months it sat un-touched, after I bought this garbage Yard Machines... When the not even 1 year old mower wouldn't start, the Yard Man did. I know it sounds overdramatic, but I swear it almost brought a tear to my eye. I don't know what I'll do with this current awful mower. Maybe I'll sell it. Maybe I'll donate it. Can't return it, I'm sure. Maybe I'll burn it. But I will never buy a Yard Machines product again. And if you're still reading, I hope this makes you reconsider making this your mower purchase.
