I'm using these in construction with true 2X rough cut...
I'm using these in construction with true 2X rough cut SYP lumber which is more dense than the soft store bought stuff. In the pine, these screws are just a little hard to start, but once they bite, they drive smoothly and securely using my impact driver without stripping. I think if the tip was just a little sharper, they would be perfect.
