About This Product

The YUTRAX X4 Trailer is constructed from heavy-duty steel creating a durable, rugged, and versatile trailer. It's perfect for using around the yard, farm or hunting camp. Engineered for strength the X4 can haul as much as 20.5 cubic feet of material and loads as heavy as 1,250 pounds. The X4 makes hauling with your ATV easy and your chores a breeze. Designed with pivoting tracking beams, full trailer loads crawl up and over logs, large rocks or rough terrain providing a smoother tow and less bouncing. The combination of pivoting tracking beams and the four large off-road floatation tires help absorb shock and provide additional traction and stability. No more sinking in on soft ground with your load distributed over the four large off-road flotation tires. Unloading is simple with the removable side rails and tailgate or dump your heavy haul easily with the pivoting and tilting bed featuring an easy to release latch. Generally very good value for the money
The unit is well made and well-designed. Most of the assembly instructions were accurate and easy to follow. Overall, I think the value for the money is good. For the assembly, there was in incorrect instruction relating to the size of the socket required to attach the wheels. Without verifying I ran out to get the unusual socket size (20mm) only to find the actual size needed was different. From a design perspective, the one issue I have found is that if you bungee something to the side walls of the trailer (like a pole saw) and then ride over rough terrain it's possible for the side walls to "bounce out" and for whatever you are carrying to fall to the ground. It would be nice to havre some way to bungee items to the fixed part of the trailer and not just the removable walls. The one Quality problem I ran into is that I have put two holes in the bottom of the unit after only using it for about a month. This is almost certainly related to my use case--I'm nearly entirely using the trailer to clear rock from several fields on our farm. If I were to buy this again and try to use it for rock, I would probably put a plywood sheet in the bottom to protect it.

The instructions are a bit vague but i found a YouTube video on assembly and that worked great.

So far, so good. Assembly was easy and straight forward. Hauled some firewood through some tough terrain with out any problems. I wish the wire mesh on the sides was a little higher. I will need to add some plywood to prevent things from falling out while moving.

Can't go wrong with this purchase
It took the wife and I about 2.5 hrs to put this trailer together, which I didn't think was to bad, cause once in a while I would catch myself staring at the instructions and scratching my head. but all the parts and pieces were there which always makes the job a lot easier. I bought this model because its a two axle on a walking beam suspension, which makes it easier to pull and have more of a tendency to "float" over soft ground when empty or loaded, and instead of bouncing over bumps the suspension will ride over the bumps, smoothing out the ride. Besides the durability, dependability, strength, and numerous other reasons, 99% of log trucks out in the woods use the same suspension. For the test run, I loaded up just a touch over 600 pds. of weight on it, and took off cross country for several miles, hard pack or soft sand, it pulled like a dream. Because I don't like pin hitches, Yukon Tracks also makes a hitch conversion kit to 2" ball which I also purchased thru Home Depot for $35., money well spent in my mind.

        Great Cart
The cart running gear with the walking beam axle is heavy duty. The tires work very well in rough conditions. The expanded metal and bent tube racks are the weak points. I purchased this cart in March and have hauled 12 face cord of maple, beech and ash so far. The issues I'm seeing with the cart are the expanded metal bottom bending and some welds failed. Both of which can be repaired and upgraded. It goes over stumps and down wood with ease. If one needs to haul heavy items over uneven terrain with a quad this cart with the walking beam suspension is what you want.

        YuTrax X4 ATV Off-Road Trailer
Average little trailer.....smaller than I thought but it will work for the intended projects. It is not worth the asking price of close to 1,000 dollars but would be worth about 1/2 to 2/3 of that. Zerk fittings are cheap.....2 were broken out of the box but I was able to pull the angle off and make the straight zerk part work. These are not sealed bearings as the washer is still about 1/16 of an inch from the axle housing. The dump latch piece of metal was bent and I have to use a tie down to prevent it from unlatching....latch hardly has anything to hang onto. Would be nice if it came with a coupler pin but does not. It will work for its intended purpose and is a nice LITTLE cart but balance your load accordingly and secure the front latch. I would not do this again but will keep this one as I need something and can make this work with some extra help. IMO the joints need to be welded joints in order to withstand the amount of weight they advertise for multiple use and the latch will not withstand that over time. My maximum load so far was about 400 pounds in that cart and I thought it was distributed evenly but guess not because several jolts and the latch popped loose and the bed went to dump position....I wondered what that noise was. IMO....you do not get what you pay for.

It has very light weight material. It cannot carry the weight it advertised.
