This coffee maker, despite how advertised, is NOT designed for making cold brew. The lid does not fit when the filter/infuser is placed in the glass container, meaning that you cannot close the container and brew coffee at the same time (as needed to make cold brew). Notably, there are instructions for preparing hot coffee in this coffee maker but not for preparing cold brew--suggesting that it is not designed to be used to do so.
